Battery Monitor 3 allows you to display an icon on your status bar that lets you know how much battery capacity (%) you’ve got left and also place a widget on your home screen that shows both battery capacity (%) and estimated remaining time. But, that’s not all! Not only does this app give you these tools, it also keeps a record of changes in remaining battery capacity and device temperature and displays the results in graph form.

You can choose to receive notifications via ticker-text message on your status bar whenever your battery status changes. You can also set an alarm (with or without vibration) to sound whenever a set capacity level has been reached. Sounds can be turned on/off and different sounds can even be chosen for the alarm. Of course, all of the notification features can be turned off, giving you full control.

The number of times the app monitors your device’s battery is automatically adjusted according to the status of your device, and the app itself was designed to use the least possible amount of battery life.

Temperature and discharge are two things that can shorten your battery’s lifespan. Besides giving you the ability to check how much time or charge your battery has left and allowing you to set alarms to notify when your battery reaches a certain capacity, Battery Monitor 3 creates graphs for monitoring temperature and charge.
There are 5 different graphs for analyzing battery capacity, temperature, or both. Two graphs deal with capacity: the Capacity Graph, which shows changes in capacity over time, and the Capacity Frequency Graph, which shows how often a particular capacity was achieved. Two additional graphs show changes in temperature: the Temperature Graph shows you changes in device temperature over time and the Temperature Frequency Graph displays the number of times a certain temperature was experienced. Finally, there is also the Capacity and Temperature Scatter Diagram which allows you to see the relationship between capacity and temperature.

I use Battery Monitor 3 to minimize recharging cycles while avoiding harmful trickle charging at full charge. I do this by using the tablet while charging but only to a safe 80% of capacity. Of course, this means allowing discharging too, but only to 50% (though 20% would be OK). This app is excellent for helping me do this. Battery Monitor 3 also automatically keeps a record of my charging history (and let's me export to CSV!) so that I can track how many recharging cycles my battery has undergone. Beautiful!

Landscape mode works for a second, then the advertisement breaks it, the time graphs are useless as the plot the results squished to the right rather than in the middle and pressing menu on the settings list crashes it (which doesn't bother me really) , so pretty terrible. Also why would you want a histogram of charge? What's the use in knowing your battery has been at (say) 47% 5 times?

Great on HTC Sensation. All other battery apps I've tried are clumsy or actually drain the battery further. This one not only preserves it but also plays a sound whenever it reaches a maximum or minimum adjustable battery level % of your choice (100% and 10% for me, respectively). One of the first apps that I ever got on my phone three years ago, and I still use it.

Bugging, widgets out of proportion so cannot see the estimated battery life hours. Furthermore, another bug where one cannot open the settings. And cannot change anything.

Pretty good app as it twlls me how much battery i have on my phone. However the only fault with it was in the notification bar it jumps from 2hour left to 89 hours left each time it pops up so i just ignore that n its a good app as it tells you the percentage anyway.

This app is very helpful for all phones because not only does it tell you how much more "energy" does the battery on your phone have, but it also allows to warn you whenever the "energy" on your battery is low in anyway you that you wish it to warn you like having your phone either flash, ring or message you or a combination of all the above methods. It also has a "health" and status indicator of the battery.
