MOGA Universal Driver

Not sure if it just needs updating or what,but would be nice to get out fixed. I like that someone is talking the initiative to create something that even the developers of the controllers can't do... Hope this one isn't a waste if time as well though. Moga pro 2 as if right now does not connect with this app.

I was able to use my moga hero/pocket with moga vk app. steps I used was to have both moga pivot app for gaming and moga vk. The moga hero has a b setting. set it to b then turned on Bluetooth for my phone. chose moga hid in the options (be sure to use the phones scanning process, turn off the controller and restart if necessary keep scanning it will find it, took a full 30 seconds). After that change your keyboard input settings to moga vk. After that your set. I did this on the note 4 using kitkat 4.4.4

The actual controller seems to have a mind of its own. It flawlessly executes the Dark Masters' (Power A) plans by just barley pairing after what seems like an hour of trying. Then goes straight to sleep, as if the whole process exhausted it. It will then allow me to repeat the pairing. 'IF' it decides to play along, I can only play for several minutes before it takes another nap, in gameplay! Pivot app was complete garbage, but this one is more stable.

to all those that say it docent work on moga power 2 or moga hero, well its not supposed too. those controllers already support bt hid device on there own, yes that secondary mode they call 'B mode' yea that one, that's what this app did for the old moga pads ie moga pocket and moga pro. so stop one star ratings please and learn to understand your pads.

this app works just as week as the moga pivot. Can't get the thing to connect to my phone. I have it connected via Bluetooth but the connection process is still not recognized. It doesn't make any sense to me. If something is paired and compatible with your phone. Then why does it ne ed to connect a second time through a second process just to be able to use it.

I wish I could give you 6 stars! My Moga controller had almost zero compatibility with any of my games using the official app :( but then I tried this one and it worked like a charm :D thank you so much! I'm guessing the bad reviews are from people with non-rooted devices, who can't use the gamepad setting. Not your fault they don't understand software utilities.

So far the actual Moga app works better than this one when it comes to using it on the Moga Pro Power and even that is a bit iffy at times. If you bought the Moga Pro Power then do not download this app, it will not detect the controller. Tell you what, update this app to accept the new Pro Power and I'll donate. Just sayin'.

Took some trial and error but now it works like a charm and couldn't be happier. Using a Moga Pocket, and here's a tip for the people who may have some trouble. First, I had to delete the Pivot app and second, make sure the driver is enabled in the app. Good luck

I used this for about a week before gamepad mode started to crash the app every single time. It's now useless and there is NO support anywhere on how to fix this or what I may have done to mess it up in the first place. I adore this app... When it works.

It worked just fine before I updated. Now the analog on the pocket moga won't work at all in gamepad mode. In virtual keyboard, everything works, but with a second of lag which can make a lot of games difficult. Using a nexus 4.

It's buggy my controller diconects while playing. It's pretty cool that someone took the time to make this though. If the author could get it working that it be great. Would be wiling to donate but im pretty poor. If it was a pay app and worked right id gladly pay for it though.

This app was simple and worked great a month or two ago. Unfortunately since then the dev has updated it and now it won't even connect to my MOGA. Really unfortunate as it was such a good app awhile ago, hope the dev can figure it out.

Ad others have said, it eats up ram. If anyone has the apk file for and old version of this app before the dev screwed it up, could you please post it on some site so we can download it... and to the dev, do you have a site where you archive old revisions, because I would like to use 3.1.1

Yes, I do have root. No, I'm not using a Moga from the Power series. Shame, because it doesn't seem like it'll be updated ever again. Btw, if you have a MOGA Power, just switch to B Mode and turn on Bluetooth. Your device will find it.

You have to hold down the Bluetooth connect button before turning the game pad on, then continue holding it down while you open this app to connect it. Don't let go until after it connects. That's the only way to reliably get the controller to connect.

This app creates an artificial b setting for the MOGA pocket. Make sure to turn on the driver and set your controller as the default digital keyboard. Most 1 star ratings on here are from people not knowing what they are doing.

REVISED: The app works as described. Ryan must've listened to our complaints and fine tuned it. I was able to uninstall the Moga Pivot app, which was 35MB, so this has opened up some space on my device. REVISION 2: I spoke too soon. The app is STILL GARBAGE! The driver disables itself and disconnects the controller. Stick with Moga Pivot.

The app works on all the different emulators however it sometimes resets and lags. Also I've experienced glitches where the screen flashes resetting over and over till I restart my phone. Fix this and you get 5 stars and a donation.

Well...it worked a few months ago. I'm not sure what's changed but I can no longer get the controller to connect via bluetooth. I have a stock S3...nothing on my phone as far as I can tell has changed. I've installed the driver, gone into the settings selected the Moga as my keyboard/input device, turn on my bluetooth and scan for Moga via the drive app...it scans over and over but never detects the controller. Funny thing is...my RAM gets maxed out, and my wifi disconnects...I don't know. I guess its dead.

Works, except for one problem: When you're done enabling the driver and having the controller connected, once you switch apps (like switching from the MOGA Universal Driver app to an emulator), it will automatically either just disconnect or disable the driver altogether. I must also note that I have the MOGA Pivot App completely uninstalled.

Mate, what's going on? This isn't working for Moga Pro. Make it work, please. I would pay for something that worked well and I'm sure others would, too. I was overjoyed to see there was an app like this. Alas it's useless for the new Moga controllers.

App crashing constantly on gamepad mode on samsung galaxy alpha. my phone have 5.0.2 so if you can please update this crash, that would be nice for samsung phone users. I used to use this app in my redmi 2 before, it used to work like a charm. But now i am fed up. Please if you update this, i will give u 5 stars.

This app works great EXCEPT it does not run Modern Combat 4 on my galaxy s4. Other games such as dungeon hunter 4 and asphalt 8 run flawlessly but somehow the moga controller is not recognized when I run Modern Combat 4. Please fix!!!

Im using a Moga Pocket on an S4 and it takes on average around 10 minutes to just connect. Sometimes it doesnt even connect. I do make sure that I turn off Moga Pivot while connecting and I follow instructions. Once it connects, I can play games for about 10-30 minutes without it loosing connection and having to restart the connection process all over again. Honestly, I would have given this a 3 star but I feel that there is tons of room for improvement, and when it works, its fantastic. Please fix. Thanks!

Recently, I purchased a Moga Pocket controller and I've seen people using the pocket version on MC4 just fine, for me, it only works every once and awhile. What I mean is I'll have the controller connected and the driver on, with Pivot closed, and I cannot use the controller in game. Like I already said, I have got it to work for a short time where it would say press any button in game. Help! Until I can fix it the review is staying at 2 stars. EDIT: If it makes a difference, I am NOT rooted.

I couldn't believe how the moga pocket only worked with a few games, but this app turns out into a virtual keyboard that works with all! From other reviews it sounds like it doesn't work for everyone (or they don't know how to set it up properly) so be careful. Mine now connects without me ever opening the official pivot app and works smoothly in games. Used with S7 edge.

Please can you add the hero power to be supported? I have used it in the past. But then changed my phone and DL the app again. Now it doesnt support anymore. Please help me!!!

Left right toggle are the only thing that works with this app. Worked fine with pivot app soiknow the device works. Only problem is the pivot games are limited. Would love to use to control my whole phone. A lil guidance would be nice here.

If you have moga pro power don't even bother installing this app. If you have anything older than pro power go ahead I guess, people say it works well.

I wanted to rate a 5 star review to offset all of the idiots that can't read the description of the app stating which moga controllers this app is compatible with and are rating this app as 1 star. Can't folks read anymore? Nowhere is the pro power (the newly released one) listed. This works flawlessly with my moga pro without the need for pivot so I can play emus. Well done.

This app does not locate the Moga Pro Power. The controller and the Bluetooth are both activated, but under "Available Controllers" nothing shows up.

Doesn't even work. I wish I hadn't bought the moga pocket, absolute rubbish.

I've been using this driver for a couple of years now. Never had a problem with MOGA Pocket or Pro. Works perfectly with all of my emulators. By the way, for those of you complaining about the newer model MOGA controllers, the developer never claimed that this app had any compatibility with them. The description clearly states Pocket and Pro.

I have used this app for my Moga Pocket and it has worked like a charm. Now i have a moga hero and this app is not compatible. Please fix.

This app made my Moga Pocket or Compact whatever it's called actually work on about 5 games whereas the oem app didn't even recognize the controller. So thanks a bunch. I will be buying the donate app, the guy before me probably didn't realize that once you've selected your controller if the game doesn't pick it up to try setting the Moga controller as your devices "Keyboard" and then customize the setup to your liking.

It sure is a lot better than MOGA Pivot, but for Rhythm-Based games it's hard to use as it has some input lag.

Take about 30 sec to pair (power a - HTC One m9) needs improvement. But it's free and better than official app. If developer had a forum, website and ir answer complains.... Could b better

It works great on the s4 active. But very inconvenient to use. You have to leave it in virtual keyboard, and swith the keyboard, then change back when your done. Trying to use the game pad mode crashes every time, I am rooted.

The virtual keyboard mode works beautifully but just trying to change to gamepad mode crashes the app. Yes my device is rooted and the app has root access. Will give 5 stars if this is fixed because it is great for my emulators.
