Decaf Monitor for Android
Worked great on my Samsung Note 3 under 4.4.4 Kitkat, but since I upgraded to Lollipop, it always shows "Connection lost" and flashes alerts, even though it is connected.

Would be good to be able to set quiet times eg for when running timed backups or be able to set specific checking times eg on the hour
Locks-up Android and force closes itself CONSTANTLY (Galaxy S). Good idea, but has a LONG way to go. Still half in Spanish and no updates. Abandoned.
Thanks very much for providing this cool utility!
Looks exactly like what i need, but apparently it only checks them when i start the app explicitly. Do I have to do anything in particular to allow the app to run in the background automatically? I have a HTC Desire with android 2.2, btw.
Works well!
Nice, but needs custom ports for services (I.e. ssh on port 1234). Needs support for SSL services too
Great app. Does everything i expected it to.
The best app to monitor your servers and services!
Crashes constantly on my EVO. At this point it can't be used. I suppose I'll return it. Can't check ports 3389, 465, 993, and 995.
Best app for geeks
A practical application, must have for sysadmins and developers.
Unreliable. Lots of false alarms, and quite often it says it has lost a connection.
Tim, we do check network but Android is not so reliable. Try notification settings, only report after 3 or 5 failures.
Does exactly what it says. Extremely useful application.
Would not work for me
One stars enph for ypu
After 2 weeks of use I have found this app lacking in reliability and functionality. Frequent alarms went off stating services were down when they were functioning correctly.
Installed on my Samsung Galaxy Blaze G4. Great monitoring tool for the most part. Love the short testing time configurations and immediate alert, BUT I've had it just stop monitoring without any notice 3 times in the past couple months as well as seeing an occasional 'force quit' popup as I wake up my phone. If I can't completely count on this app, it doesn't matter how great it is when it does work! I'd rather pay and have a product that is ready for prime time.
This app wakes me up if it needs to - when sysyems are down. No weird 3rd party servers; as the phone does the work itself. And if I jump from office to elevator to subway, there are no false alarms.
No apparent way to add a host for monitoring in ICS due to lack of menu button
Force close whenever I check status manually or with the background agent. Nice gui. Easy setup but not useful for practical use on my phone at least.
Very nice UI and function. ForceCloses occasionally on Sidekick 4G. Would be nice if it did ping and udp ports also.
Been using this application for the last few days and found it to be the best among all the monitoring tools for Android that I've tested. The developer also showed himself prompt to answer questions and improve the software. Never received a false positive (monitoring each 5 minutes with a 2 fail count before alerting).
So far I like this app, but messages are in spanish. Also, it doesn't seem to check automatically. I have to click check.
A widget for this app will make it a killer app! Does what it says brilliantly. Sgs.
Does exactly what's needed, most of time, but frequent force closes or false alerts on switch between WiFi and 3g on Wildfire.
Super. Would be nice to get rid of in call annoying messages about lost connection
Alarm does work well after all. Really nice app
This is a well thought out and easy to use tool. All its missing is widget mode.
Uses HTTP/1.1 without hostname to make requests, generating errors in Apache. Uninstalled.
Brilliant app. Will give 6 stars ;) if an easy UP/DOWN widget will be added, showing if all the servers are UP or not. Please! Thank you, nice work!
Brilliant, but please complete the translations!
Doesn't distinguish between your server being down and your device not having a connection eg airplane mode. Also doesn't support SD cards.
Awesome. Does exactly what it says! Good way to keep sleepy IIS servers awake too!
There are a couple of others, but this doesn't need any extraneous permissions and works well over http. Simple. Elegant. I'd give it 10 stars!
Useful. But needs to check network well as servers because if network drops.... all hell breaks loose.
