About Signal Meter GSM UMTS 3G WiFi
If the four bars indicator (on your phone) is not enough and you want more accurate measurement of your operator signal…
Use Signal Meter if you want to know:
- The GSM signal strength around you;
- Where the signal is strongest and where is weak;
- How strong is the field emitted by GSM cell mounted on your roof or on opposite building,
- The signal strength of all WiFi networks around.
For GSM networks –
- Signal Meter conveniently displays the GSM field strength produced by the cells of the operator you use - at home, in the office, school, etc.
- The strength of the GSM signal depends on many factors, such as distance to the base station antenna, buildings and surroundings, weather and more.
- The phone measures only your GSM operator signal in the current cell at your location.
For WiFi networks –
- Signal Meter shows the total strength of all WiFi access points in the area.
Signal Meter meter cannot be used for accurate measurements of the strength of the signal intensity or the quality of the service.
- FiledMeter only gives a relative indication of signal strength and helps you assess visually where the signal is stronger and where weaker. Measurements depend on the phone model and GSM operator network.
- Signal Meter consider only the signal of your GSM operator. The signal strength depends on the distance between phone and base station, phone model, orientation and other factors.
