About Dart
Instant messaging with absolute privacy, without incurring text messaging charges, even when you don't have cell coverage by using WiFi.
Free unlimited use for text messages!
Dart uses the IronPigeon protocol to ensure that only your intended receiver can read messages you write, and only you can read messages your friends send to you. Your phone contains the key in an end-to-end encryption system so that not even the app authors or the facilitating network can read your messages or who you send messages to. Share Dart with your friends with an easy tap to pre-craft an email or SMS text message that you can review or modify before sending to invite them to install the app and send you a secure message.
Write short messages or long ones. There is no character limit to the length of your message.
A "home screen" shows you all your Dart contacts and shows you the last message you've exchanged with each contact.
Push notifications provide that real-time chat experience you've come to expect from texting your friends. Read their message without having to leave what you're doing and just switch to Dart if you want to reply.

Went through setup then tried adding contact with bluetooth, failed. Tried email, "not a recognized ironpigeon endpoint." Can't text, hence downloading this app to begin with. Tried all of the above on the other device with the same results. No explanation of how to use QR code. I'm assuming it requires you have a QR reader app, then maybe it auto syncsafter scanning, but after failing the other six times wasn't worth it. Great idea tho. Privacy is a hard commodity to come by these days, just didn't work.
