Poweramp Remote 4 Android Wear

Worked now since bluetooth is rarely used and connects when it wants to (bluetooth is so ifie) and wifi have become the main connection between phone and watch since Android 2.0, this needs to be upgrade to also use wifi to connect the 2 together.

I use Poweramp all the time and this app is perhaps the single most useful thing I could have on a smartwatch. There is ONE thing I wish I were be able to do though, and I really hope you add it soon: I want to able to select from a list of albums by a single artist. Right now, the album list simply shows ALL the albums by ALL the artists in my library. And selecting an artist from the artist list takes me to a list of ALL that artist's tracks. I want to be able to select an artist and be taken to a list of that artist's albums. This would make it much faster to navigate to a specific track, since I don't want to scroll through every single album in my library, and I don't really want to search by talking into the microphone either. Please consider allowing the user to browse through albums by a single artist; this would make it a five-star app for me. Thank you. PS: If somehow there actually is a way to do what I described without talking into the microphone, please let me know, but as it is I don't think there is a way to do it yet.

Not working on Huawei at all since recent Android Wear updates. Used to work most of the time before, although the stock player controls were always fighting Power Amp Remote. I prefer this app to the stock controls. Hopefully it will get fixed.

App works great but your video and pictures are way outdated in the play store. Ideas. Is there anyway to mirror the poweramp playlist. I have gigs of music and cannot scroll through all of them. Is this possible on android wear?

Works well but how do you get the clear/white control buttons on the watch screen ?, I have solid grey buttons which obscure the album art......

Best remote app. Search is somewhat confusing.

Great wrist remote for Poweramp player , have one issue where it won't sync and just sits on the last song played on the watch while Poweramp is still working ....Minor glitch. Hope this update resolved this issue.

Read the app description, make sure you stop the app sleeping or it wont work, ooops!!

Honestly awesome.

Its very good, love it! But... its always wrestling with the (much inferior) default player that i cannot disable (SW3) - makes trying to use it quite a saga sadly, where both programs wrestle for control.

At first I was ready to give this one star, but stupid me, didn't know all the features were available with a center swipe up of down on the watch. If you have an android watch and are a major Poweramp user like I am, this app is a must! Headsets can only move to the next song and control volume. Now I can switch to any music folder that I have created on Poweramp from my Huawei watch without having to pull out my phone! Great App for Android wear watches!!

It is what it is, the only thing that takes from it, is that I have to switch to a different app to change volume. If the other app lets me do all then theres no reason for the app?

...it doesn't display the time in-app. C'mon devs, if Google Maps can do it, you can add this as well. There's also the wrong Album art displayed, and I had to have it disabled. Hoping this can be updated

Controls arbitrarily stop working and only partially work after restarting both phone and watch, reinstalling poweramp and this app gets it to work again for a day or two, utter waste of money

why is the album art on the watch different from the one on the phone? How can I make them be the same?

This is quite possibly my favorite Wear app. It fills the glaring gap in media control that exists on Wear right now. I haven't faced any bugs so far on 6.0 and Wear 1.3(ZenWatch 2). I'm generally using a library with 350+ songs.

Very useful. However, when playing some songs, their wrong album art is displayed on watch despite correct art displayed on phone.

Works beautifully in my LG V10 > LG Urbane = no bugs at all.

worthless with more than 100 songs with the delay and lag

This works pretty amazingly on my moto360!!! Problem is I can't see all my tracks at once. There's always a bunch cut off. Either this is a bug in the software or I have something set wrong. If this is fixed my rating will be 5 stars, because its frustrating to not be able to see all my songs.

App continually disappears from my watch. Takes a lot of time to sync tracks, and controls stop working at random times. Also, the card controls could look better.

No bugs to date, no missing tracks, no crashes. This is going to come in handy in the winter when my phone is tucked away.

This worked perfectly on a Note 3 running Android Lollipop 5.0. I have since upgraded to 5.1.1 and it appears that the controls now only work intermittently. Usually while (or shortly after) the phone's screen is on and unlocked which somewhat defeats the purpose of this application. Album art and information is displaying and the native Android Wear music controls seem to function without issue so I don't think it's a connectivity problem? Is this perhaps a power saving issue when the phone screen is off? This was a five star app before this issue and if it could be resolved it would be again.

The perfect tie in between Poweramp and Android Wear. Absolute control right from your wrist.
