If you're trying out different apps to skip tracks with volume buttons, this one is by far the best, had trouble with every other app, this one works flawlessly!

Worked like a charm!

App works instantly and nearly perfectly. I have yet to experience any glitches that I've seen in other apps with the same idea. The one down side is that the app does not work when the phone is at full volume. While this slightly annoys me, simply keep your volume one stage below full and you'll avoid any issues. My only other recommendation would be to add an option to have the phone vibrate when you skip a track. It may seem petty, but my nerves work faster than my ears, and it's strangely satisfying to feel the command being sent successfully.

S4 - Just as described! Controls volume when screen is on. Track skip when screen is off.

Works as advertised, but can't change volume when screen is locked and no options to modify anything

It does what you expect but adds a 5 second delay before playing the next track (using Google Play on Galaxy S3). I hope this isn't an imposed limitation.

First i could change songs With headphone button,but after update my canvas 2 does not supporting this.but this app was a great for me i m just finding app like this, good job L

I was missing this functionality from previous custom roms! Now I can use the volume button to skip tracks on my stock Nexus 4.

Works great except volume has to be set one level above lowest and one level below loudest for the app to work properly. Ex. 1/15 and 14/15. On my s3 this works great.

Simple and best app.

Seems to be the only app working with my LG, but only one button works - vol- (prev. track). Vol+ does nothing... otherwise it's just exactly what i wanted

Other apps I tried would stop working after an hour. This one never fails. NOTE: will not work when volume is set to max/min.

It does skip songs on longpress, but also on normal press so I cannot increase the volume at all when the screen is shut :-(

But, it would be a lot more useful if you could map the buttons to work when you held them instead of quickly pushing them. I would like to still be able to control volume as normal if the screen is on, off or at the lock screen and only skip songs or go to a previous song if I held the volume button down (which is how it works in Cyanogen mod).

Next & previous track work well. However settings page always forces close (on Sony Xperia Mini). So got refund on full edition & back to free version.
