Tide Prediction for Android
Not been updated in years but it still picks up the right data and still predicts the tides accurately AND it doesn't require a data connection all the time unlike others
One complaint: the graph view is only CCW landscape mode. Would be more convenient if it rotated to match the phone or tablet orientation. VERY minor issue!
Nearest location for London to be found is 64 km away :-/, might as well use chart table. Is a shame as the apps seems really handy and we'll conceived.
This app is impossible to use its info isnt detailed, it doesnt have nearly all the tidal info needed, when i typed "south africa" only one result came up but we have over 500 beaches
This app is simple yet always works... Never crashes. I have tried others, but I always come back to this. Need tides fast? This is it.
Love this app. Reminds me of Tides & Currents app I used to use on my old Windows PC.
Tides without a data connection! That's the best thing about it. Yes the user interface could be slicker and may the graphics updated, but I still haven't found another app that allows you to see tides months in advance and without connecting to the internet. This one does that, so full marks!

Searching for sydney (Australia) brings up two versions on the same location. One is one hour behind the actual tide, the other is two hours ahead. Not reliable.
Gives same results as XTides, WXTides etc. But is AWKWARD to find tides/currents unless you know official name of tide/current station OR use the online Google Maps. One should not have to turn on battery hungry GPS. Not only that, one is usually NOT at the location of the station when planning route timing. SUGGESTIONS: (i) Need way to save FAVOURITE stations; (ii) Need to add a simple base map with stations that you can zoom into to find stations WITHOUT having to be online.
This tide prediction app is great, doesn't take much space doesn't insist on more that location info. Minor drawback is number coastal cities covered.

Great app! A useful addition would be phone or even email notifications (i.e. Four hours before high tide on a week day for fishing, or a high tide alert when planning to exit a harbour when planning a sailing voyage on particular dates).
I searched and searched my local costal towns in UK, I just repeated over and over that they did not exist in memory.
This is the best offline tide and current predictor for Canadian waters that I have been able to find (actually the only useful one so far).. There are a couple of tweaks I think would improve the app; would be nice to be able to select either US NOAA or Canadian CHS predictions instead of always having to pick from both, and maybe an icon to change location without having to go through the menu, but i'm nit-picking. Five stars.
I like this app and I've seen many. Just a few possible improvements. I don't see what height you're using. Their are quite a few. Would be good if it would be selectable or at least clear. Also there is the actual tide, at least that's what I think it is. But I'm not sure. Would be nice if the graph could also show the actual tide if available. I'd be willing to pay if this were in an app. Best
Minimum 36 hour display needed with 12 hour steps ---- 8 day (landscape) visual tide graph needed (no data) to see neaps and springs and tap choice of date for data view ---- Needs 3 colour line for moon favoured fishing times across bottom or top.
A boat Captain must always know the Tide Levels. This App has a quick view graph to show tidal behavior plus a chart with supporting accurate data. It is easy to use with flexibilty to switch location and dates.
Too inaccurate to be of any real use. One to two hours out compared to other predictions (and reality). Dangerous if used for anything other than a vague idea of times.
Favorite tidal app among all I've tried. Accurate for many varied Tampa Bay areas. I can travel the Tides along Gulf Coast with car & kayak for best fishing all day long. Graph is great; instant glance is all I need.
Could you please change the icon (logo)? It's not really represent this great app. It's so handy for ocean bath/rock pool swimming. :)
So far, very nice app. Free, fast, simple. I like the graphical view, and flipping from day to day to watch the changes in tide levels. Would be nice to be able to scroll smoothly through time (side to side) rather than flipping a whole day at a time. Overall, very nice - THANKS!
What more could you want? Great app....if you need to know the tide. (Y)
Great 5star app if it had more stations, and click to map, all offline
This is great and certainly appears to be accurate for my location. As it is on the phone rather than somewhere in the cloud, it is always available. Brilliant.
Try finding tides for somewhere else in the world.. no chance. (Search should be done by map.) Pls add also vertical lines on graph. And the icons are so unintuitive.. My local tides info complete and accurate.
Very nice, like the graph giving state of tide at that current moment.

Captain of Marauder Charters in the chesapeake bay I depend on the water for my lively hood and my tournament wins. This is not the only application that I use but it is one of the foremost resources at my disposal. This application is accurate best as possible expecially in the change in condition and variable situation the Chesapeake has to offer
Sumple to use and gives the hight of the tide at any given time
I wanted to find the tides close to Inverness. I live quite far away, so using the GPS is out of the question. Searching for Inverness or any of about 50 places nearby just gave me no results. If I could pick a point on a map, or supply my own coordinates, I'd be able to actually use this.
Does exactly as it says on the tin. Could be a better ui.
Nice simple app, needs a directory listing so you browse around.
Does exactly what you need it to do - show a chart and data for tides near your location.
On the water, there's not always access to data so it's nice to find a simple tide app that doesn't require data. I would pay a couple of bucks for this if I could lose the ads, there was an option for non-24hr time and there was an option to enlarge the font. I can't easily read it without reading glasses....
Brilliantly excellent for beach dog walkers. I can instantly see whether I should go now, or am too late for a wide beach, or that I should wait for a bit before going out with my dogs.
When I first loaded this app it worked well. Now not so great, disappointing. No locations found for search string???
I am looking for a tide app with tidal stream data. Cannot find anything that manipulates the data. Can you do that? Others seem to just give pictures.
