About MPS TimeLog Free
MPS TimeLog - quick and easy time recording. Perfect for self employed and freelancers, also suitable for employees or for leisure and hobby to log and evaluate the required time for activities in all areas.
Functions:
• Direct time recording during an activity
• Possible to change start time during time recording
• Recording of pauses, which are calculated and displayed as separate entries
• Add or change entries afterwards
• Each entry is assigned to a client, project and activitiy
• Add hourly rate for each project (optional)
• Show total list (the log) for all entries
• Use filter to display required entries only
• Sort the log ascending or descending by date and time
• Display time exactly per minute or rounded (5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes)
• Quick evaluation by displaying the daily and total sum of entries, their duration and turnover
• Assigning one or more tags (keywords) for each entry (optional)
• Add notes for each entry (optional)
• Backup and restore the database on an SD card (allows transfer between Free version and Pro version)

Love the UI, everything is simple and easy to access. However, I badly need the ability to preset pay rate based on activity. I have different rates for different services that all apply to the same project, and no way to specify pay per activity, making it impossible to track earnings using the app. Fix that and I'll go to the Pro version in a heartbeat. (Sorry for updating my review over and over!)

This does everything I need it to. Screen blacks out and the app will freeze if I have it open for a few minutes. I wish it had a widget.

I just recently switched to this time tracker from a competitor that I have used for several years. I really like the simplicity and how clean the layout of this app is. I do have some suggestions. First, it would be helpful to be able to set logs as "Paid". You can tag a log as paid, but you cannot filter out paid logs because the filtering is by including, not excluding. So either add the ability to mark as paid, or add the ability to set a filter for inclusion/exclusion of tags, etc. That would be very helpful!
