Unicode CharMap for Android
No odd permissions, no ads blocking. I can just scroll to the character I want and copy it to clipboard then paste it where I want it. Favorite feature very handy to bookmark. Although only problem is I can't directly search for the unicode by its code directly to copy without scroll when I tried. The app is a little big for what I expected but guess it can't be helped.
This is a really useful app for anybody who works with coding! I know it's insanely hard, but please add a feature that only shows the symbols supported by the devices current font. also, could you add an option to the settings to toggle between "single tap to add char to input, double tap for info" and "single tap for info, double tap to add char to input" thanks edit: sorry, when i said "double tap" i meant "press and hold"
Umm.... It is the best app for doing things I like. Like customize nicknames but tool bad is not everything in like there's lot of blank space which is not Available on my android also I think it is the best app to know like history
If You Play Agario And Want A Fancy Name, install this app and you could make a fancy name :D
It's a good app but there is one thing: when I click on a character I don't necessarily want to select it, just view more details. Could you make it select the character on double click?
Amazing, so I can get a fancy name on nebulous and my device is HTC one 5.0.2
There is Lot of symbols thx
please move the scroll bar to the other side i always touching it in accident.
Way Too Small In My Viewer. Settings Very Limited.
Does what it says on the tin, and doesn't request any permissions.
Pawsome mainly beacuse the invisible name
Loved but can you add U+FE37
Very good in combination with Noto fonts
Yep. Best I've seen so far.
Perfect

Update makes it much better. Tks dev
The best app of its kind by FAR! Thanks, devs! Great for Web devs, programmers, linguists et al. I *love* it!
Saves installing an emoji keyboard for the few times I use them and helps identify unfamiliar ones. Could use a filter to omit codes with no visual to save scrolling. Why won't some emoji display in this on my phone (Kitcat 4.4.2)? Suggestion: After searching for description, retain found list and contents of search box as people like to use groups of similar characters.
I read through a few of the comments, and there have been times that I wished I could explore my own font collection. So I would like to submit my vote for that. Especially if it were possible to register it as the default font viewer. However, I can understand your reluctance to break the "no permissions" coolness. Ultimately, it's up to you. Thank you for providing a very useful app.

Half the symbols don't show for me
Current version, for example, does not show the new emojis approved in Unicode 8, but Android 6.0.1 & apps such as WhatsApp already supports it.
An easier way to seperate the characters, theres too many blank to be sliding through
Awesome app! One bug though. When I tap a character that is at the right edge of the screen, it scrolls the screen instead! One feature I'd love to see added is to allow the favorites tab to be the default tab when the app is launched.
Plz fix!!!it
One of the best charmap apps

IT TAKES LIKE 70 MINUTS TO DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay!
Finally found
good
Nice, easy-to-use interface. Excellent search and "Favorites" mechanism. This only feature missing for five stars, in light of the fact that many characters are non-visible: the matrix of characters should show the descriptive names even BEFORE selecting a character (and thereby already "typing" it into the pasting buffer). Currently, the "Unicode Browser" app does this, but its interface is too cramped and also a bit clunky.
Being able to search description is essential, you can do that with this app. Favorites is a nice feature as well. Only minor gripe with the UI is that I can't select a single character to copy to clipboard because it's too far to the left, usually I need 3 characters to be able to copy anything. But it's a solid app and worth your while!

Very good job!! I am a very big fan of ancient scripts, and this app is the best! Only one problem: when I copy Egyptian hieroglyphics (for example) and I past them into a note, they aren't shown, like there was a space. But I think it's my mobile, which doesn't support Egyptian hieroglyphics :'( Isn't there any way to install some font which supports most of Unicode characters? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J1 and it uses FlipFont. Otherwise, you did a great job Mihai ☺ thank you very much
