When an unknown number is ringing, Google search results for this number will open in a web browser automatically.
There are many apps doing reverse lookup with their own databases which are often publicly searchable by Google. By doing a Google search the probability of finding the number is considerably higher since each of those databases contains only a certain set of numbers.

Q: It doesn't work.
A: Make sure you run the app after installation at least once otherwise it won't work.
Q: Will this app reveal hidden/blocked/unknown/unavailable caller numbers?
A: No. Maybe a service such as Trapcall can help with that.
Tip: You can then redirect these nuisance numbers to voicemail by adding these numbers into one contact with enabled option "All calls to voicemail". How to do it is described in:

What's the point? If it can't identity hidden and blocked numbers? Number shown I can more time than not find out who's called! Simply call them back or just Google the number, like selling ice to the Eskimos!

Thank you for your prompt update!!! It's great great great! You guys rock! ------------******-------- I need and option to put a word, meaning "phone" after telephone number. I'm from Mongolia. And it's "утас" in mongolian. Otherwise search returns something else but contact info. Thank you in advance. After putting this option on, this app will be outstanding one.
