Bill is focused on building our community. He believes this means maintaining a balanced approach in providing quality facilities, programs and services, while providing value for dollar to residents. Elected for the first time in 2001 at the age of 24, Bill is the youngest person to have ever served on Grande Prairie City Council and the city's youngest ever Mayor.
In his time on City Council, Bill has been appointed to a wide range of committees and boards including all standing committees of council and a wide variety of community organizations. Bill has completed the University of Alberta's National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration (NACLAA), a nationally recognized credential for local government administrators.
