I love the App. It does a great job, it's nice to be able to see Battery and Charge status with just a glance, BUT, it some times freezes up. When that happens, I REMOVE and PUT BACK the ICON (I don't uninstall and re-install the Widget) and it works again for a while. I am running Android 7 on both devices that have this behavior. That may or may not be an issue. I've not heard back from the email I sent the developer.

by C####:

It is very compact and easy to see your battery life on your home screen. Once in awhile, when the battery runs low and you charge it up overnight, the value doesn't update and gets stuck at the low value it was at when it started charging. You can only clear it by power cycling the phone. Great app otherwise

C70%
by C####:

Widget used to work fine. Now it freezes often, and I need to reboot the phone to get the correct indication. Even force stop from Settings / Apps doesn't work. Last night after charging it showed 29% when it was really fully charged.

C70%
by C####:

It recently has started using a lot of battery? ? Not sure what has changed but it is now one of the biggest consumers of my battery. I've used this for several years and still can't find an alternative that I like as much as this one but have to give less stars until the battery usage is fixed. Samsung gs5

by C####:

I've had this battery info app from its incarnation, ran it over 6 phones.. Now I buy a cheaper Chinese manufactured phone.. No longer cooperating... I've never worried to much about its accuracy, just always liked the color on my home screen. Y no work no more but?

C70%
by C####:

Had this for a long time and really like it. However for approx 2 week now it fails to update on many occasions without pressing on the widget, so gives false readings. This seems to have started at same time as the Marshmallow update - related? Don't know. Have not uninstalled it while hoping for an update to fix, but can only wait so long.

This doesn't allow you to cool phone but gives the temp in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Once I saw how hot it was, I bought a case that gave circulation around the back. That dropped temp of phone by 10° at least!

E70%
by E####:

I love this app, but it doesn't automatically update the percentages anymore since Kit Kat. I have to tap the widget to get the correct number. Scary when you go from 75% to 15% out away from a charger.

C70%
by C####:

I like the widget, but it does not update until touched on the Nexus 4, which makes it kinda useless. I hope you fix this soon as it's pointless me purchasing the full version at the moment.

O70%
by O####:

I'd give it a definite 5, however the thing restarts quite often using the battery. 4784 times within one 24 hour period. So how goes this use "NO BATTERY"? Yet, by far, the best on Play Store!

C70%
by C####:

I use this app on an older model I keep for downloading, but my phone already displays the charge percent, so this kinda becomes redundant, except the temp reading. Got something's that does just that?

K70%
by K####:

Well I've had this app on all my phones and now my Nexus 7, but here lately its not been updating correctly. It showed 92% but my Nexus actually had 14% battery life.

C70%
by C####:

As others have noted, Android updates haven't been applied to this app. So it will stick on a certain percentage while you're battery is actually running down. Not sure if that's the case with the paid version, but I'm not paying for a freakin battery widget. I'll try something else.

C70%
by C####:

Its great to look down and see your battery status in a glance. This tool has worked well these last (almost) 3 years I've had this phone. Lately though I'm wondering if the tool is broken or if the battery is malfunctioning because the percentage goes from 48 to 5 in less than 10 seconds. It'll then slowly creep to 1 and stay there about 30 minutes.

K70%
by K####:

My phone recently updated android to 4.4.2 from 4.3. Now the widget does not display the battery level correctly. I have to tap the icon to get it to refresh.. Sorry but uninstalled. Used this widget for years.

by M####:

Used to love this app. Have it on all my android devices. But it refuses to work with android kitkat. First had to uninstall from my nexus 7 and now no longer works on the note 3.

C70%
by C####:

Works like it should, displaying power right on ur desktop. If you are having trouble then try long-pressing on your screen and then "add widget". (Took me 10 minutes to figure out why it was only giving warning messages)

C70%
by C####:

Widget needs to be clicked before giving the correct battery level. The memory excuse won't wash. This is a brand new nexus 5. If not sorted soon, I'll find another widget.

C70%
by C####:

Worked brilliantly with all my phones so far. I used to blindly install this as my first app on any new phone I used. But it has some compatibility issues with the OnePlus 3. The widget very often hangs and doesn't display the real time battery %. It simply gets stuck until one removes and adds the widget again. Would love to continue using it but only if these issues with OnePlus 3 are resolved.

K70%
by K####:

Solo Battery Widget goes above and beyond my expectations. It gives my information about my battery I didn't even know I want. Plus it has a really cool graph of battery life vs time. A great widget, I love it.

I've used this APP for years without any problems. Now, it's just a simple icon that's not working. Keeps freezing and gives false reading. I almost ran out of battery believing that the icon was correct.

C70%
by C####:

This app used to work great but after the 5.1 update the display on the screen freezes giving a false battery level. Quite frustrating when you glance and think you have lots of battery life left only to realize it's way off. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but no luck. I'm going to look elsewhere. Too bad really. It was great! Moto X (2014)

This widget used to be good, but I don't think it has kept up with android updates. Everyday or every other day I have to delete the widget and redo it because it will freeze on a battery level. So while I THINK I have 85% battery life... I'm really at 15%. It varies on the percentage too. Sigh, it's a problem. I'm uninstalling and going for one of the other battery widgets in the app store.

It's quite a good widget. Only problem is I don't know how to resize it. P.S. Can some1 help me

App does not work with android. I thought it would tell me how much. power my battery had left. Doesnt do anything!!!

D70%
by D####:

This is a great app that doesn't ask for permissions. The only problem I had seen is it can't accurately judge estimated time remaining. 14 hours at full charge!? I get more like 2 days if just using it for texts and calls. Unless this is an averaged value, an update for it would be awesome!

D70%
by D####:

...and more, really. I don't really need the more detailed info... but the Batt Display itself is just about perfect. (Not currently using since I've worked out system problems that had me watching battery level and "stock" Batt Info (Quick! To the Batt Cave, Robin.) currently serves my needs. But keeping this app in mind for the future.) In a word: Elegant.

Kyocera Hydro XTRM, unable to get the audible alarms to work BUT otherwise works perfectly: nice, big font so I can see how full the battery is even without my glasses; the %charged is almost always dead-on (a couple of times had to tap the widget to update but knowing my phone so well, can tell instantly that I need to tap it. Great, free app.

Cant deny that its not 2 horrible. Doesn't drain battery quite as quickly as others. Not very many options 2 this widget. Would give 5 stars and have no complaints if was able to put in notification bar at top of screen to monitor battery percentage at anytime. 1/4/15 I'm now very unhappy, still no improvements, and widget doesn't work frequently. I have to tap on it to register accurate percentage.

This app works for my phone and has no funky permissions- why do some of the other battery widgets need access to my WiFi or pictures or location, etc? Data mining? . I guess I will live with it with the likes of Google, Amazon etc, but not from Joe-s++t-the-ragman's app shop. Thanks for a great free app.

It used to be good and efficient...but recently the widget stops working and hangs completely. Will give it 5 stars if the problem is solved!!!

Simple but functional. Settings options, useful information, small footprint, and it works! The developer has not packed this app with the all too common bells and whistles crap that do nothing but suck the life out of your phone. Note to developer:PLEASE DO NOT RUIN THIS APP LIKE SO MANY OTHERS DO WITH THEIRS BY ADDING POP-UP ADDS, AND GAME CRAP THAT CAN ONLY BE REMOVED BY PAYING (e.g. Circle Launcher)

Latest update left me with just the useless "start-up" app that does not start-up the widget. Uninstall & reinstall failed to change anything.

Installed about a year ago to monitor my battery temperature. For some reason my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 likes to over heat. It has helped keep my tablet from exploding. Thank-you.

It used to automatically update the battery status and I loved it. Now I have to click on it to update the percentage. I'm running Kit Kat. Fix it and I'll be glad to give it 5 stars.

Everyone needs a battery widget. Who wants to squint at the tiny meter on the notification bar and guess what percentage is left? There are many others out there that will do similar - but this is the most basic and reliable. I've been using it for going on 4 years and it's still the best.
