Stay Awake Widget for Android
Constantly stops working. I have to delete the widget and recreate it to change my usb settings back.
This could be a great app if it would only remember the settings. I should be able to set and forget.
I'd give it 5 stars but it freezes everytime any taskkiller is used. But it works!
Galaxy S3. Widget stopped working. Uninstalled.
Locks up whenever the home screen changes orientation.
Sorry, this app does nothing. Freezes.
Works great, no freezing, hasn't forgotten to go back to pre-plugged in settings at all, unlike the alternative app.
Constantly have to reload to get it to work consistently. Uninstall.
Doesn't show up in widgets section in appdrawer. There is no other way to add it to mainscreen. 4.4.4 moto x
When it works, great! Shame it constantly crashes and must be reloaded several times daily. SGSII/Epic 4g touch
Good idea but terrible programming. Keeps not responding on my dx. Needs reboot to fix. On removal it leaves setting permanent even after reboots.
It Works Just updated to Froyo 2.2.1 and the Stay Awake feature was removed. This app saved the day! Thanks. Galaxy S
was working, got a new phone (Galaxy S3) because my old one broke... will not work now.
Would give a four to give rating but it keeps freezing after using once. Have to delete and recreate. Great widget other than that.
I presume this is not compatible with ics, i show that it is installed but its nowhere in widgets or apps
Works great! Does exactly what it says on the tin.
After a while, it doesn't respond to tapping. As if it would be a static image. Not recommended.
Doesn't work on Nexus 7
...and easy. Works good. Needs a setting for when not charging, or plugged in.
Works great. Dev add search words like screen on, timeout, backlight, screen power. Other apps are doing better because they are easier to find.
The simple fact is I could not get it working on the my x10
Just got a couple of Galaxy S3s on VZW and I guess ICS doesn't have this option like earlier versions of Android. This widget does what it says. Works great.
Can't open widget at all. Biggest waste ever.
So far so good! I have a rooted S2 with a rom that added the stay awake feature. Probably was after every reset or turn-on it would uncheck itself. This app has given me easier access to this feature. AWESOME!!....
Does what it claims too.... just keep an eye on battery levels.
stuck after first debug session.. widget frozen like a static gif. sgs 221 root
It keeps my screen on but it dims it on my HTC EVO
S4, USB toggle will turn on, not off, and ac won't toggle at all
Tried using this on my LG Flex with e-mail policy that disables the stay awake functionality. Hoped it would bypass the restriction like all the reviews I read mentioned it would...but nope...doesn't work.
Just wake up, and after whole night on charger (with widget off) the battery is at 10%. Nice idea, but this is unacceptable.
Left button works, but right button will not. This started with the Andriod 4.3 update. This widget will be missed until it gets fixed. My review now goes from 5 star to 1 star.
This app does precisely what is needed during navigation. Pity the function is not built into maps software.
Very helpful when it works, but it constantly locks up - have to delete widget then recreate it to get working again. (Epic 4G)
Why can't all app & widget developers take notice of how user friendly and simple customers want things....... To whom that developed this widget, My hats off to you on this simple but great widget.... GOOD WORK!!
When it worked it was exactly what I wanted, but it would always become unresponsive and would eventually lock up my Atrix.
The widget stops working after a while and you must remove it and reapply it for it to work again. Plz fix for 5 stars.
no realtime updating but it does all else that I need it to do. but is unstable and after a while it stops responding. I have to recreate the widget or reboot the phone. i really wish it worked better. sprint galaxy epic 4G
On my eclair phone I have an Android settings for "keep awake when plugged in," but that applies to both connecting to a computer and to power. I want to keep the screen on when debugging, but have it act normally turn off when charging. This widget lets me do that.
Got my 5th star 4 the size reduction (seems off centered 2 my other 1x1's, but it cud b just me). It works like a charm! Just what I was looking for!
