About Guernsey Buses
The official app from buses.gg – Guernsey’s bus service. It’s the app that gives you everything you need to get about Guernsey by bus.
It features full timetables, map-based journey planning, stop-by-stop bus information, the latest travel news and information on current diversions. We’re working on fully live next bus real time information for 2015.
Stop-by-Stop: This feature shows the next departures for every bus stop on Guernsey. Just click on the bus stop you are interested in and it will show the route number, destination and scheduled departure time. It will also let you know if a diversion is affecting the route.
At the moment, it uses timetable information. Over time, we're looking to upgrade this feature to use real-time information instead of timetables. We'll keep you posted on our progress.
Journey planner: The journey planner aims to help you find the right bus for your trip. It’s really easy to use – and you’ll be on your way in three easy steps:
· Select the start and end points of your trip by clicking bus stops on the map, or typing into the form underneath.
· Add the date and time for your trip into the form.
· Press ‘Plan my trip’ button and get your trip results
Timetables: Our timetables page provides the latest timetables for the service, simply click on the route number and the site will show the timetable.
Live service updates: As with any bus service, things like roadworks, short notice diversions or other incidents can cause delays or disruptions. We’ll be posting these on our twitter feed, @buses_gg, so our customers can receive up-to-the-minute news. Don’t worry if twitter is not your cup of tea, as we’ll post all of this information on our live service updates page automatically.
Diversions: Where we know about diversions in advance, we’ll provide you with plenty of notice on our diversions page, which lists both current and future diversions.

The "app" is obviously just the website in mobile form that has been wrapped up to appear as if it is an app. It is slow and crashes frequently when i tap the "back" button, most likely because it isnt built to run as an app would. An amaturish attempt to pubish to app stores without any effort at all.

A new app and needs quite a bit of optimisation yet, however it looks promising. A brief play around showed some errors and performance issues and navigation could be improved but should develop into a useful app.

I hate to say it but this app is nearly useless althpugh has great potentional!!!

(21/11/16) bus information is incorrect, I used trip planner which told me there was a 92 bus at 15:48 torteval to st martins, i was sat in the cold waiting and nothing arrived, when i call in to ask where the bus is im told the service no longer runs. nothing on the site to explain this. had to cancel my doctors appointment costing me £48 all due to misinformation. this is ridiculous!
