About KeePassNFC

Use your NFC-equipped Android phone to unlock your KeePassDroid database.

Requires:

* A phone which can write to, and read from, NFC tags (such as the Nexus 4)
* KeePassDroid, also available in the Play store.
* An NFC tag -- search for "ntag 203" or "mifare ultralight" online. Shouldn't cost more than a few dollars.

What's Changed
Version 1.1 should work with MIFARE Ultralight tags. Unfortunately you'll have to re-write your tags if you're upgrading from version 1.0, because the encryption method changed. Sorry! I'll try not to do this again.

The screenshot shows a DropBox path, but there is no way in the app to open a file in DropBox. My KDBX file doesn't appear in the "recents" list, no matter what I try. [EDIT: Bumping this to 5 stars, as I finally figured out how to get a DropBox file open... in the Open From dialog, you need to click on the 3 dots at the right to change the settings, and turn on the option to show internal storage. Then you'll be able to navigate to the path your DropBox files are in.... AndroidDatacom.dropbox......]

Nice, but no Dropbox support?

But this version seems to work again. Love using this in combination with my chip implant.

Would be perfect if confirmation was asked before opening keepass file, or auto launcher could be disabled

Pretty good, but is it possible to use a password AND an rfid chip?

It was able to write to an NFC tag, but when you attempt to read the tag it crashes.

Does not password length greater than 16 characters, which is strange because there is plenty of space left on my NFC tag... Please fix that and you will get 5 stars. Oh anyway, just saw this project is open source. Therefore you will get 5 stars right a way. Thank you.

5* as it saves me from having to enter in my 16 digit long password which is difficult to remember away from a normal keyboard. I second the idea of having an additional password for 2 factor authentication in the event someone does steal/copy my nfc tag without me knowing.

Even with Google drive installed after picking the database it won't save selection..

This would be a great solution if I could store the actual key on the tag, not the path to it. That would be a real 2 factor authentication. Cheers

This solves a problem that I didn't know I had! One more level of security for all of my passwords.
