Waterbot: Plants watering

Very nice design, and easy to start using... But I'm setting these reminders for my Succulents, which sometimes need watered 3+ weeks apart. When updated to allow more than 20 days between waterings, this app could be worth 5 stars.

Its a great app in theory, but it doesn't do much in action. I have it set to send reminders and I still never get notifications. I honestly completely forgot about the app until just now when I got a notification that my plants were all dead. And I downloaded this app about 2 months ago. Not worth the space on your phone.

You shouldn't schedule watering. You should water plants when they need watering. All of the other apps in the store are schedulers and this is the only one that focuses more on the interval. If you water every week on Tuesday, watering late might mean overwatering the FOLLOWING Tuesday. This is something the scheduler apps don't understand about plants. Since I'm actually pretty good with plants, I don't need an app to tell me to water on a particular day, what I need is an app to just log how long it's been since I watered last. This app comes closest to that. Each plant just has a timer that ticks down. If you water something late, then you say so and the timer starts whenever you water it. It's great. Some features I would love, though. 1. Longer intervals. I have a number of plants that only need water every 30, 60, or 90 days, and even less in the winter. This app maxes out at a 20 day interval. 2. Seasonal changes. I would like to be able to set a summer schedule and a winter schedule separately. 3. Food and water. I would like to track watering and fertilizing separately for each plant.

If I could name my plants or number them inside the app it would be a clearer indication as to which plant needs watering. The current setup is that I must label pots with numbers and then put them in a certain order. Not the worst scenario, but not ideal either. Please figure out how to get the right info on the right plant. Thanks for the assist in not killing my plants.

It's a decent app to help me monitor my plants after using for 2 months. I would say that like others have stated, the notifications could be done better and with some succulents the time window for scheduling watering doesn't stretch long enough. I currently monitor 12 plants and they're doing well so yeah it's helpful. Thanks for providing it for free.

It was odd that the app started emptying water out of the graphic so I was getting water notifications 3 times a day for plants set up to only water every 2 days. I will uninstall.

Nice app. Does it's job nicely but has outdated design. You can do better

I have used this app for 2 months now, and works well. Only suggestion is maybe able to set audible alarm instead of just status bar icon.

I really like this app but 20 days is way too short between-watering-time for succulents during winter :c please incerase it to at least 60? Please?

It's a simple app that helps me keep my plants alive! I've been using it for over a year and am very happy with the results, live plants.

Super simple to set up. Very useful for me since I have various types of plants with different watering needs...and I'm very forgetful. Would like to see a note feature but it does what it is meant for.

It would be nice if you could name each plant. I have several plants that would be hard to tell them apart just by a picture. I got around this issue by taking pictures of the plants name tag.

I wish it was aware, had a library, for plant needs. Type of light and how often should be watered.

It's OK, but I thought it will actually remind me to water the plant and that's why I had to add how often it needs water. This would be the really useful feature!

I water my succulents every 3 month , but not enough days on the plant calendar for it, don't forget guys, you can use the app to take pictures of the plant you need to water.

Never forget to water your plants again. Friendly reminder to keep you on top of waterings. You can adjust the days and take a picture of your plant so you know which plants need attention.

Nice interface, easy to add plants and great way of keeping track. Would be good to share across multiple devices with a shared account though.

I love it. Does what it's supposed to and I can take a picture of each plant so I know exactly which one needs watering.

The app tells me what to do, I just wish I was a bit better in doing it :D

Notification could be better, or have more than 1 level of notification. For example, yesterday I got a notification saying don't forget to water. But I found it strange as it seemed to early, I opened the app and it said 1 day remaining. Today, no notification at all, I open the app and there's a skull indicator on my plants already

I love having this app as I have several plants with different watering needs. HOWEVER, I wish there was a login so your info could be saved. I recently got a new phone and had to completely start over and like I said, I have several plants. What a pain!

Cute idea/visuals but too limiting for me. Not being able to adjust beyond days is annoying as cacti only need to be watered monthly depending on season. It would be cool to see features which allow notes or interesting facts about specific plant care and even whether growth can be encouraged by plant food (fertilisers)

So far two days in hope it does what it says been hoping for an app like this for a long time I'm so buizy in the summer and can't remember when my plants get watering and they show thanks

I NEVER get notifications. The whole point of downloading this program was so that it would remind me to water. Not worth the cost...and yes, I know it's free.

Very helpful and simple application. Works great for me! But... ☺ I would like to see not only watering reminder but fertilizing one too. Right now in summer it is very important to fertilize your plants and you should create a schedule for this process too. If it's possible, please add this feature

I have many plants on different watering schedules. Finally, a way to manage them all! Have been using this for months now without a glitch!

Just started using this app. So far it's nice. I love plants, have lots & needed a scheduler to help. Pretty neat app!

Very simple app which does what it promises. Some extra features could be interesting (fertilizer reminder for one) but all in all I'm satisfied!

I wish it will have more options like if you add nutrients, but it does what it says.

Very Glitchy. I would much rather be able to sort my plants by their name rather than a photo. Also it would be great if they had a library of common house plants and their watering needs.

Some of my cacti and succulents need to be watered every 30 or even 40 days. This app only gives you a max of 20 days in between watering. So, it wasn't helpful at all for me. (I found an app that suits me more)

Would love an area to add care instructions!!! Or a link to a plant care quide.

Very much so enjoyed the app.....I wish the graphics were a little better and more interactive....but it gets the job done. Maybe give you advice on certain plants.

The app could be expanded with plant descriptions to help people know how often to water and if they should be mindful of something, but the basics of the app works fine.

Some of my plants look similar. I'd like to be able to name them along with the picture. I'd also like to be able to schedule multiple reminders for the same plant like fertilizing, pruning, or maybe some open-ended options.
