The best ballistics app on Android keeps getting better with updates.

Many users do not realize that this is a stand-alone app, and the calcs are done on your phone - there is no requirement to be online, in a service area, or otherwise connect to a server somewhere to get a solution. The only flaw I've noticed is that if I get a new phone I'm screwed, because I am unable to synch for a backup, and there is no way for me to change my password - it recognizes my username, so I can't even start a new account. Attempts to contact help via web mail were in vain. PS 02/17/2017: App update to allow login recovery keeps returning "invalid login". Went online on PC, and clicked on "profile manager"; selected "lost login"; does not recognize any present our past emails as registered. Attempt to reregister unsuccessful, since "username already exists". Will try to repurchase.

Best ballistics app period

Have used for years with very good results. UI is easily most intuitive of ballistic Apps I've used. Unfortunately, last update makes it pause several seconds before going to solution screen. I don't know why, but it is an annoyance. I continue using app anyways. Would be 5 stars if that pause was fixed. Only thing that'd make app better is scope reticles.....

...need to update that bullet library. Hornady eld bullets have been out for almost a year. I know I can add them myself, but it sure is nice when they are already in there.

I've been using this app for years now and have used it in several successful long range hunts that wouldn't have been possible without this app. This app is the best ballistic calculator I've seen.

I wanted to use this for BPCR. It does not support BC greater than 0.2 and would not allow me to save my bullet data so I could not use it. Uninstalled after I wrote the developer and did not get a reply.

All I see is a blank white screen

Cant compare trajectories with metric units. Otherwise OK.

Be sure to use your dumb - dumb filter when reading reviews. There is a very solid reason this app has a Great overall star rating;...it does EXACTLY what it says it does ,and it does it WELL. In fact, as well or better than any I've tried, even ones that cost much more. Great app man. Keep up the good work. Your continued improvements are greatly appreciated.

This app is spot-on. Compared to all of my printed data and the G7 BR-2 rangefinder it is accurate to within one tenth of an MOA. I would recommend this app to any hunter or competition shooter. I shoot at ranges out to 1400 yards and this thing is absolutely accurate including wind holds.

When I originally purchased this app years ago you could backup your guns and loads to a portable file so you could keep your data. Now it is impossible to backup data to portable file on SD card. I've been through FAQs, searched online, searched the phone drives by keyword and manually. I've repeatedly and patiently sent Mr Kennedy emails over years seeking help, without reply. I refuse to give my data to third parties who have no business or interest in having it. Yet again, I've lost all my loads.

Honestly if anyone is saying it doesn't work they're doing something wrong. I've had this so for a few years now. Works great

Not happy that when I go to type in a the BC that it registers in fps and it won't let me change it....Samsung Galaxy Note 5... any help would be appreciated

It would be fantastic if it had a built in database that would let you add all the gory details like powder, brass, primers, case length, overall length. And range data like inputting multiple velocities, ambient temperatures, and so on. Fantastic app though. Worth every penny

I had this app for 3 years now and I'm finally going to rate it. I was a former Ranger DMR. I'm retired from active army, but I still shoot over 5000 rounds a year, ranges from 600m-2870m. When you entered every data correctly this app rocks, it put me on target from 650-2470m with my .338LM almost all the time. Love this app.

Best long range ballistics app I've used. Spot on drops at all ranges. Just put the right info in and shooter does the rest

I used to love Shooter - accurate info and extremely easy to use. Unfortunately, I experienced 3 device reboot while using Shooter during a match on Sunday. I contacted the developer on Sunday and have received no response. I can only surmise that the developer has stopped supporting the app. :(

I have been shooting long range for three years now and this app is awesome.

Great app. I've been using it for a couple years and is nearly spot on every time. Do your part and Shooter definitely does theirs. REALLY Wish they would add .30 caliber 190gr Accubond Long Range ammo from NOSLER.

Used this on my iPhone with no problems. On my antroid it doesn't work. Not sure if its me or the device. Everytime I open it, it starts with the settings and never does open up the tables for use.

It doesn't work on Android. When entering desired parameters to initiate the profile, it gives no option to input it. I want a refund.

Easy to use and works perfectly. Not a huge library of ammo but very easy to add your own specs

The app itself is great. It's fairly straight forward and what you'd expect from a decent shooting calculator. My only issue is that on the solutions, range cards, and graphs, the app doesn't allow for a landscape view. It does when you're inputing data, but as soon as you read the results, it only allows horizontal. Which makes working on a tablet with a keyboard or a arm mounted phone a bit of a pain.

Web Sync will generate "Missing Parameters" error message if your UID and/or PW incorrect; if there are more than ten guns and/or more than a grand total of 36 bullets profiles stored in your app. Make the appropriate adjustments and Web sync should work. Unresponsive developer when reporting this and others bugs (zero offset setting may also have polarity reversed [should be neg for left miss, pos for right miss]).

There are no problems with running it on android. Works well. Getting to some settings pages can be tricky. Has the ability to set a correction factor if your scope is not 100% accurate re its adjustments.

I just want to say thank you for making an awesome app that works and works well. I took two deer in KY this opening wknd of rifle season at 375 yds. According to the app 18 clicks up and 6 left and it put me right on target. I never would have attempted those shots without your app. Where do I send the deer jerky and bacon? Thanks !

I had this app for a year now and I'm finally going to rate it. I was a former precision shooter before I retired from active army, but I still shoot over 5000 rounds a year, ranges from 600m-1800m. When you entered every data correctly this app rocks, it put me on target at 1640m with my 6.5x284 Norma. Keep up the good work.

If you are honest with the input variables then this software is basically spot on. I use it for firing solutions from 500m out to 1200m

I like the app and have used it to get a hit on a prairie dog at 595 yards. For thoes who don't know a prairie dog is around the size of a 16 Oz Gatorade bottle so this app does its job very well. My only problem with the app is the fact that the range step control does not adjust the solution page only on the table page. If you guys fix this I'll make this 5 stars because I do really like the program.

I have tested this app for many years on tons of calibers and distances out to 1400 yards. I have showed at least 35 people and they have bought it, and tested it side by side with me. You can "true" your rifle just like ATrag and A.B. with the muzzle velocity tool. It matches the wiz wheel too, for those of you who know what that is. I have shot in conditions ranging from 5° in high elevations to 116° in the summer. If you "zero" and then "true" your trajectory this is the only app you will ever need!

takes a while to fool with it and learn its quirks but it does the job.
