Smarter WiFi Manager for Android
Does a great job of neutralizing a common threat.
Works incredibly well. Makes wifi management an afterthought
Tentative 2-star review until I can launch it without it crashing immediately.
Defines preferred location by cell phone tower -- which is your entire neighborhood, leaving wifi always on, which completely defeats the purpose. The simple solution is to make it only connect in a familiar location AND when there's a preferred network in range. Also, won't even let user override on setting. If you manually turn off wifi, this app instantly turns it back on. Not smart.
Time range set to turn WiFi off at 9:30, but it never does. The time range settings worked in Kit Kat. Nexus 5, running 6.0.1 with latest patches installed.
Problem it turns on wireless in places I may have used wireless previous to installation. Pressing forget seems to be ignored, should be a button to put into ignored list. Otherwise it works well. Actually it seems the forget network isn't implemented correctly because it keeps bugging you over and over. Only choice is to turn off the app. Should use GPS if enabled too.
Over time, the location that was limited to a half block from my house has grown to nearly a mile. I only connect to a couple custom named routers so it's unlikely that it's trying to connect to other routers.
Enabling wifi only where I need it is a huge battery saver on my phone at least. Have found developer very responsive to bug reports
Great app does exactly what it says and well.
But now on my Xperia Z5 it often doesn't connect back to my WiFi when I return home. It turns radio on, but no connection. Unsure if the phone or the app with Lollipop. Previous phone was HTC One M7 and this app was flawless on KitKat.
Awesome
WiFi enabled too often (constantly on in learning mode) to recognize any battery saving or security/ privacy benefits. Actually creates a vulnerability by forcing Wi-Fi enabled even after manually disabling it. Great concept but worthless implementation!
Time option doesn't work.
I really like this app, its a perfect mix of security and functionality for you Android. But could you please make it available for tablets on the mobile network.
Recently it crashes a lot on android 6.0, probably lacks complete support but worked as expected before I upgrade, still recommended for anyone who is not using android 6.0
Keeps turning on my Wifi in places where I want it off. I tell it "forget location" and three seconds later it turns Wifi back on saying "you've turned on wifi here before" — this is no use to me if it won't reliably keep wifi off in untrusted locations.
This has been an amazing app to use. It keeps my wifi off unless I'm in an area it remembers. I have had some small issues in the city where it picks up different towers at the same location and as a result turns off my wifi in my apartment. That being said the configuration is super easy so adding a new tower to my safe list is a breeze. I'll probably have to cut down my usage of the app because I'm switching to Project Fi but I suggest this app to anyone out there looking to add a little extra security and probably some battery life. Great App
Latest update is very nice. Manages where and when WiFi should be enabled. Latest update resolves some issues and is working great again on my phone.
Prevents leakage of the SSID for networks you previously joined as you move about the world.
Does exactly what I need it to do. Simple interface and generally reliable.
Awesome
Many times after leaving a location WiFi does not disconnect. Also sometimes forgetting a location it still connects when nearby.
A real shame
Smarter Wi-Fi Manager put a stop to unwanted auto-connect behavior with AT&T hotspots, and that one feature alone makes it worth buying.
Does a good job.
Does what it says on the tin
Awesome again
A real shame
Does not work learns networks but will never turn Wi-Fi on off. They should have a trail version so one can determine this before wasting 3.00 as I did. Do not buy. Drains battery fast to

I see this a lot when I'm waiting at a train station to go home. I cannot determine why the wifi keeps turning on at the station.
I've tried several different apps for managing my phone connections to WiFi networks and Bluetooth devices and this is the best app available. First it is based on open source code which gives me confident there is no spyware included. Second it is easy to configure.
Isn't learning any networks on Nexus 5. Can't get this to work at all.
Easy to set up. Love that WiFi is re-enabled automatically when I get home and to work and turned off elsewhere. Coordination between Bluetooth and WiFi is smart too. Updated frequently - UI issue in L has already been fixed.
I'm disappointed that the WiFi and Bluetooth radios can be controlled, but not the provider data radio. it doesn't seem to remember cell phone towers either, that's misleading, not that there's much value in referencing the tower.
This is a great privacy enhancement. It can be a little awkward some times, but that's too be expected. Generally works well.
Can't toggle switches. Worked great before.
Time option doesn't work.
I turn on location learning & it finds some identifying cell towers. I disable learning, leave, & Wifi is turned off as it should be. However when I return Wifi isn't enabled & I must turn it on to use it. Plain out doesn't work on Nexus 4.

You can stop worrying. Does one (complex) thing well.
