【あらすじ】
マフィア・売春婦・汚職警官… あらゆる悪行がはびこる犯罪都市・エルガストルム。
その街で汚れ仕事を請け負い生きるウォリックとニックはある日請け負った新興売春グループ殲滅の仕事で、グループによって働かされ暴力を振るわれていたアレックスという名の女性と出会い、殲滅という依頼にも関わらず彼女を助け便利屋に引き取る。
アレックスは電話番として居候する内、ウォリックとニックの抱えているものに気付き、興味を抱くようになる。
ウォリックとニックが共有する複雑な過去。 人々に差別され、恐れられる「黄昏種（トワイライツ）」と呼ばれる者たち。
過去と秘密が明らかになっていく中で便利屋は黄昏種に対する差別の激化と虐殺、マフィア間の抗争に巻き込まれていく。
