【 ストーリー 】

◆ハンター試験編
父と同じハンターになるため、育ての親であるミトさんとのある約束を果たし、ハンター試験への旅へと出たゴン。試験会場へと向かう船で、ゴンは同じハンター志願者のレオリオとクラピカに出会い―。


◆ゾルディック家編
パドキア共和国に到着し、キルアがいるククルーマウンテンへ観光バスで向かうゴン、レオリオ、クラピカ。しかし、城壁のような正門に阻まれてしまう。なんとしてもキルアに会いたいゴンたちは―。


◆天空闘技場編
上階へ行くほど強い人と戦える天空闘技場で修行と小遣い稼ぎを始めることにしたゴンとキルア。二人はそこで同年代の少年、ズシに出会う。ズキルアはズシが使おうとした不思議な技がイルミと似ていることを感じ―。


◆ヨークシン編（幻影旅団編）
奪われた同胞の『目』を取り返し、旅団を地獄へと叩き落すと誓ったクラピカは人体収集家の館を訪れていた。また、ゴンたちもジンが残したゲーム『グリードイアランド』の手がかりを求め、ヨークシンへ向かっていた―。


◆グリードイアランド編
ゴンとキルアはG.Iを競り落とした人物にプレイヤーとして雇ってもらおうとするが、二人の念能力では無理だと一蹴される。プレイヤー選考に合格するため、二人はそれぞれ必殺技の特訓をすることに―。


◆キメラ＝アント編Ⅰ、Ⅱ
ゲームから持ち帰ったカードを使って、ジンと思われる「ニッグ」の元へ向かったゴンとキルア。しかし、そこにいたのはジンではない別の男。いきなり男に突き飛ばされ怒鳴られたゴンには怒られる感覚に覚えがあり―。


◆選挙編
ハンター協会の最高幹部集団が集結し、その中にはジンの姿もあった。彼らはネテロが言い残した次期会長の選出について議論するが、副会長パリストンのせいで議会は紛糾する。この議会、果たして決着はつくのだろうか―。
