理容師の資格・理容師国家試験
理容師になるには、「理容師国家試験」を受験し国家資格を取得する必要があります。
理容師は国家資格を前提とした職業です。この理容師のための国家資格試験は、厚生労働省が指定した試験機関である財団法人理容師美容師試験研修センターによって実施されています。
試験はこのセンターが定めた受験場所（養成施設等）において、学科と実技の試験がそれぞれ行われます。
学科（筆記試験）は毎年3月と9月の2回実施され、実技は1月と8月の2回行われます。学科（筆記試験課題）は、実技にくらべて合格ラインが高く、１課目でも０点があると不合格になります。
１ 筆記試験の合格基準
次の両方の条件を満たしている場合を合格とする。
(1)50問中60%以上の正答率であること
(2)関係法規・制度、公衆衛生・環境衛生、感染症、衛生管理技術、人体の構造及び機能、皮膚科学、理容の物理・化学、理容理論の何れの課目においても無得点がないこと
