【京都案内８】祇園祭に行きまひょか！

古都京都の7月といえば、祇園祭。
1日から祇園囃子の稽古も始まり、市中心部はお祭りムードが一気に高まります。
幼い頃から、祇園祭に慣れ親しんできた私ですが、今回このアプリ制作のために
いろいろ調べ直していて、新しい発見がいくつかありました。

その一つが、7月17日（前祭・山鉾巡行と神幸祭）と24日(後祭・山鉾巡行と還幸祭)の
2回クライマックスあることです。
私が故郷にいたころには、今でいう前祭・山鉾巡行と神幸祭しかなかった。

今回、2014年、150年ぶりに休み鉾(ほこ)だった大船鉾が復興し、これに伴い、
49年ぶりに神様をお迎えに行く「前祭（さきまつり）」と「後祭（あとまつり）」に分かれたのを知りました。山鉾巡行が本来の姿に戻ったのです。これによって宵山も前祭と後祭それぞれ行われ祇園祭の楽しみが2倍になったのです。

私にとって、祇園祭の思い出といえば、やはり「宵山」ですね。
宵山、宵々山の日の夜空に浮かび上がる幻想的な駒形提灯と
哀愁のある祇園囃子の音色がとても印象的で深く脳裏に焼きついています。

当時付き合っていた恋人との別れがあったのも宵山でしたから、
“コンコンチキチキ　コンチキチ”　という調べを聞くと甘酸っぱい青春が
甦ってきます。

17日の前祭には新町御池では、先頭の長刀鉾に乗っているお稚児さんの、
