水柿ツカサは病気のせいで大学受験に失敗するも、親のコネで大企業SAI社に入社する。

しかし、ツカサが配属されたのは窓際部署「ターミナルサービス」だった・・・

この部署の仕事は耐用年数が近いアンドロイド「ギフティア」の回収作業。

新人ツカサはギフティア少女「アイラ」とコンビを組む事に。

アイラは努力が空回りばかりするドジっ子だったが、仕事を通じて２人は心を通わせて行く。

しかし、実はアイラ自身、耐用年数まであまり時間がないギフティアなのであった・・・・
