Мастер и Маргарита — известный роман Михаила Булгакова. Написан в 1929—1940 годах, впервые опубликован в 1966 г.

Роман «Мастер и Маргарита» посвящен истории мастера — творческой личности, противостоящей окружающему миру. История мастера неразрывно связана с историей его возлюбленной. Во второй части романа автор обещает показать «настоящую, верную, вечную любовь». Любовь мастера и Маргариты была именно такой.
