BetterWeather for DashClock

This plugin has been installed for as long as I could remember, but now it returns nothing but "API error", regardless of Yahoo weather, or OWM. Bummer. Is there any possibility of adding Wunderground as an API? Raindrop would work well per user, as long as you limit requests. I've switched off this app, and I'm now using Forecast.io to get weather in the dashclock.

I switched to this when DashClock's built-in weather widget broke, now this one is broken as well. It was great when it worked, but with no response from the developer for months, I have to assume this is simply no longer supported.

Same issue with the API. It keeps giving me the error instead of the weather. I don't know if it's a compatibility issue (highly unlikely because my phone is pretty decent). Hopefully this gets fixed. Looking for an alternative in the meantime.

It was a nice Dash lock extension when it worked, but it does not show weather anymore because it seems to not be able to determine the location. I tried GPS, network location with no luck. Explicitly set all permissions. Nothing helped. Uninstalled.

This extension has been broken since at least August of 2016. There has been no explanation or information provided. I will be uninstalling and looking for another solution.

Now completely broken. API errors 100% of the time, and it won't set new location (even after reinstalling).

API ERROR both Yahoo and openwhether API has been updated, the developer is not supporting this app, moving to yr.no whether dash clock.

Obviously no longer supported. Do not bother installing as it just returns an API error. Should be removed from the store.

Works very well and has many more options than the default provides.

I dont know what went wrong , but i can get the weather to identify my location automatically nor manually runing stock 7.1.2 n6p , somebody help plaease iused to love this widget

To increase the security measure and better serving our YDN customers, weather data source will enforce OAuth 1starting March 15, 2016. Please update your API calls with OAuth 1 enabled (via the OAuth /v1/yql end point if using YQL) using your Yahoo App key and secret. Edit: Thanks for the update!

I've been using this extension long since I can remember. But recently it's been showing API Error, please fix. Device is Note 5 (SM-N9208) running Marshmallow.

Generally works well, but I think it may be displaying wind speed incorrectly. Configured to use Yahoo weather, Yahoo web site currently saying 14mph for my location, your app displaying 22mph/35kph.

Unusable on Sony Xperia z5 / t-mobile. Doesn't seem to be a permissions issue. Dev doesn't seem to be maintaining this or responding to other users who've mentioned the API error?

Stopped working in Aug. 2016, been using it for 2 years with no problems. Yahoo Weather gets API error, so does OpenWeather.

Have been using this for ages and loved it but since upgrading to Android 7.0 it's stopped working with an API error. I've tried loads of different widgets with the same result so may not be a BetterWeather issue but someone needs to fix it quick!

BetterWeather is indeed an improvement over the stock Weather plugin for DashClock. The default Weather plugin only has a few editable options in its settings. BetterWeather has way more settings to choose from, allowing for more information to be displayed on screen and greater customization choices. For those wanting an improved experience with additional information being shown and controls on what to show, BetterWeather is the DashClock plugin to have.

It hadn't been fixed after 2 weeks. There has been no explanation or information provided. I will be uninstalling and looking for another solution.

Has been broken for weeks. All I get is "API error". Probably just a matter of updating the api keys. I will update my review when it's fixed.

I've been using this lovely extension for a while now but it recently stopped working. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon though!

How to open expanded widget? Even if I chane the icon theme in general view nothing happens. The highest and lowest temperature are not also working.

Doesn't work. Nothing but API errors for weeks. No word from the developers. No sign of a fix.

I guess this is now abandon-ware as it hasn't worked in well over a month. Great when it worked, not so much now.

Getting API error, so app is essentially useless. Don't bother downloading until the dev fixes it.

Used to be awesome. Now my girlfriend and myself both get the api error and no working weather.

Please fix cant add location manually , it dosent show sugesstions like.before nor i can get my.location through gps . I always add location manually now not working

Don't believe it's the apps fault, might need to be updated for permissions or location or I'm just doing it wrong.

Now noticing API error on my Samsung S5 SM-G900I running Marshmallow.

Stopped working for quite sometime. Back to the default weather plugin for now.
