$1 is giving me 5min. That means $5 will give me 25min. Very expensive since I use a different card that gives me 70min for $5. I'll pass on this unfortunately.

I go to call my family overseas and it says "sorry, your call cannot be made at this time" even though I am dialing the correct number. The app automatically added $25 to my credit card once I went below $5 credit, even though the app showed I was still abive $5. There is always an echoey sound on the line. Facebook messenger has a much better call quality and it's free.

Doesn't work It tells me to wait for a minute to send a code to my phone and it never did. I did this a multiple times and didn't work. I had to go through a long process for calling through penny talk, also their customer service number disconnects automatically whenever I dial -in

The is customers is a completely joke. Bad customers service, this app used my all my minutes without me making a single phone call. Really!!!

Bad voice. Clarity and barely connects the call

I just put $10. On it and I haven't use them because the app got stuck, so I uninstalled and install it back again, and when I log in now it says that I have $9.01 how?? Stupid app, it just stole $1 from me..this is the last time I put money on it..

Misleading advertising, It says on the site that they will be no fee charges but was surprised​ of .99 cent monthly charge.

A lot of time it doesn't connect at all if it does it calls another line it makes u mad but when it does work it's great

worked fine for a while but now when i want to make wifi calls it tells me that call can't be completed and to disconnect from my wifi service first. doing so DOES NOT WORK and the only way to clear the error message is to restart the phone. If i hadn't got money invested in this pile of crap i would uninstall it

First day i try this apps it's working until the second day i was trying to put some money in it so i can call my family in philippines and then what happen is they just take some money in my debit card and it didn't show to the account balance !!!!!

Every time I try to call it goes through and then says sorry your call cannot go through at this time and hangs up. :(

Can't even get started. The customer service number and people are no help either. They kept sending me from one person to another and when I recharged my card offer the phone with them they double charged my debit card and just told me, sorry but can't not do a refund.

Doesn't work anymore. Just showing the logo and won't to open the app

I tried calling customer service as the app wasn't working and they had my money. It took the guy 15 minutes to access my account (I have the recorded conversation) he could not understand a word I spoke I had to repeat my phone/ account number at least 15 times. He finally got it then could not handle my queries as he could not communicate. The long and short is (I finally got a manager to call me back) the app is riddled with bugs and doesn't work on "new" phones. I have an s5. Beware.

After years using Keku, I made the switch today. It's been very smooth so far, and the connection is clear.

What juts happened???!!! had pennytalk for years and now a popup windows keep telling me that it "cannot be activated on this device" and it is no longer in Android App system/google Playstore!!!!

Too expensive to talk,almost duple to call cell phones ,from other companies

Too expensive now pay $0.35 and is telling me 0.95 that's almost 3times

It shows that they will sent me verfication code by message, but i didn't recieve it. I waste my $10 on it.

They say 1.8 cent per call then charge 5 cents to 10 cents per call. Normally I never checked my balance before. Last few month I felt something wrong as balance decresing very fast. When checked history from thier website found this problem. Once report they will just add 1-2 bucks back to your account and say some excuse. Where in reality they will be stealing much more than that. In my case it is 17.15 bucks for 280 minutes in one month only. That is 5.7 cents per call excluding 0.99 cents per month.

Can't get the code just says wait, the old version worked fine ,pls can some body help me

U can't hear. Forces to use phone's minutes while 1 foot from the WiFi.customer care unit does not care.it does call when it wants but u hardly hear. So have loud speaker on or connect a hi-fi.once my dollars are done. This app will be gone.emailed them weeks ago and no reply.

No one should have to call customer service it should work the first time

I do not know what to think. This App is not working at all with my cell phone Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I have contacted Penny Talk Customer Service several times, and they are wonderful people but so far they don't known how to make my phone work with the Penny Talk Mobile App.

I think it's ok but the minutes to my country is very high

Got the app Called customer service to set it up. Well worth it the app is very good.OK changed phone got the app and called customer service.Penny Talk has the best app,customer service,and security.

First they locked my account. Then instead of fixing it they requested that I create a new one with a new phone number and new credit card information. After having me jump through so many hoops the best they could do was have me start a new account. On top of that the app never worked!

I used to love this service until today. The customer service is 100% junk. I have spent hundreds of dollars since last year, probably well into the thousands. Just recently an automated service said my service was in use, and I couldn't make a call to hang up and contact customer service. Customer service was useless. No longer using this service, since credits are disappearing and I can't get answers. Does anyone know of a good international service that's better.

Downloaded in a few moments, opened up as expected, logged into my existing Pennytalk account, entered my account number and PIN, then the verification code that came by text within 30 seconds, and was up and running. Very easy!

I liked this app. But after an update it has stopped working on my phone. Can someone please tell me why update something only to stop it from working?

Try to activate on a T-mobile us line get message my phone is not supported 1800 support # neverending list of useless options.. Uninstalling....

I used this app last summer to call the Ukraine, and to make calls back to the US when I was there on vacation. The call quality was definitely poor, even on WiFi. There's always the possibility that the location I was calling from, or to, is part of the problem, so I did not give this app a horrible rating.

I haven't had any issues so far, it always works and it hasn't drop any calls. The only thing is that when adding credit if you tap more than twice on the icon it will withdraw money right away from your bank account. Rates are very reasonable and it's easy to dial!
