I2P for Android
Works alongside your VPN. Great.
Cannot get it to work properly. I'm using a Firefox add-on to proxy through i2p, I can visit normal websites with an ipv6 but if I try to visit a .i2p site it asks if I want to add to address book I do what it says and it always comes as unreachable.
If you really want to know if you are Anonymous go to google and type dns leak test. If it pulls up and nearby location chances are you are not anonymous. No torrent on app. Not very good
For anyone complaining that this doesn't hide your ip in the browser, that's not what it's for. It's more or less a peer driven tor without an outproxy to the clearnet. Go read the docs on the website.
NOT SECURE. SHOWS IP ADDRESS. FAIL!!!!! UPDATE YES TRIED IT AGAIN WITH THE SAME APPROVED, CONFIGURED BROWSER FOR I2P. TWO BROWSERS CHECKED, AND APPROVED IN YOUR APP. SHOWS IP ADDRESS ON THE WEB!!!!! FAIL!!!!
No torrent download possible ,thats bad
It does shut down after twenty or so minutes but its up and running after restarting itself or I restart it. Overall it works for me pretty well.
bad quality
Well most negative reviews are by people who don't know how to tweak i2p... but so very secure the fact it is slow is a price you pay for anonymity :) thanks developers
If anyone has trouble running the app, disable power saving mode as background processes are disabled. The reason most can't get VPN apps and similar to connect.
After a while connection starts to time out. Loss of connection. Tip: wait till tunnels are ready it takes a while ..
Looks good, but needs DuckDuckGo support
Works well so far keep it going
Cool but not useable
Thanks
Works great but won't stay running. I have to keep starting it back up and it takes 2 minutes to create another tunnel. This needs to be fixed then I'll give it 5 stars.
That is how a privacy app should be when asking for access to phone. This app asks for nothing! That is awesome.
Best of the best.
Darkweb
No Socks5 no ipv6. And tons of crashes.
i2p>tor
keeps freezing and crashing after starting and opening address book as well as crashing orweb on port 4444 p.s. there is no crash notification it just goes blank and closes
Set i2p up, set lightning browser to i2p, waited an hour for nodes and peers. No site is reachable, no jump site is reachable, it does nothing. It is useless to me. Orbot works fine and I have used Tor since the project started, this is unusable.
start times are notoriously slow. Occasionally ceases to run. Crashes often.
No i2p tunnels found reported by lightning browser.
Keep up the good work
I've run I2P on Ubuntu and Windows for years now (along with Tor and Freenet) , and I'm very happy to see a stable, functioning version on Android now.
Love it
As I had posted at the BOTE app review, same story here. Really would like to see this work. I would love to give this a higher rating. Most of the time it does not work connected via Ultrasurf browser. Sometimes works, most of the time does not. Continually disconnects. Frustrating. Where to go from here? I am using TOR because I never have problems with it. I would love to use I2p as a alternate network. I am on nexus 7 2013 marshmallow.
Takes some time to integrate but works great. I recommend lightning browser for browsing http.
Works great thanks for the app
I love it! Makes my surfing experience enjoyable! Good job!
i2p>tor
Loved it

Can't change the port(s) I2P uses, and I also can't individually configure my client tunnels' hops, backups, etc. I'm also experiencing an issue adding more subscriptions to my address book - I'm able to add them but they don't seem to sync even after reloading the list and after restarting the router.
I've always suspected Google releases of privacy apps might be rigged. The version from F-Droid works perfectly, but this one from Google never finds any connections.
I use Orfox/Orbot and I2P. They are both very good apps. Worth checking them out if you're conserned about privacy and annonominity. Make sure to understand their goals and what they can and can't do before expecting them to just magically 'work' for your browsing habits.
Is say unfortunately I2P has stopped when I use it
