GeoAlicante

Dentro del VII Congreso Ibérico de Didáctica de la Geografía de la Universidad de Alicante y formando parte de un proyecto más amplio denominado GEOGRADÍA, se ha creado GeoAlicante 2015 coordinado por Rafael Sebastiá Alcaraz y Emilia María Tonda Monllor de la Universidad de Alicante y Verónica Quiles López de Alicante 1850.

GeoAlicante es un itinerario didáctico por la ciudad de Alicante. El objetivo es difundir un nuevo modelo de ciencia geográfica entre la sociedad, dando a conocer a los ciudadanos y visitantes las claves para entender la historia del territorio alicantino y mostrar una forma diferente de enseñar la Geografía a través de diversas disciplinas.

GeoAlicante toma el relevo de las experiencias precursoras de GeoAlcoi que tienen como finalidad ayudar a tomar conciencia de la necesidad de contribuir a la conservación del patrimonio natural e histórico, organizadas desde el Campus de Alcoy de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento local.

GeoAlicante es un proyecto de colaboración entre profesores de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Alicante y Alicante 1850, empresa adherida a proyectos de Invattur Emprende, Instituto Valenciano de Tecnologías Turísticas de la Agencia Valenciana de Turismo. GeoAlicante es un diseño innovador y turístico donde se ha creado una aplicación App con geolocalización para dispositivos Android, diseñada por el programador Antonio Carayol Martínez de Alicante 1850.

Además hemos incorporado en la App imágenes de virtualización del patrimonio presentando monumentos y paisajes urbanos de diferentes épocas que, unido a las nuevas tecnologías App para móviles, facilitan la mejor comprensión de nuestro legado cultural y natural existente y desaparecido, generando una oferta cultural paralela a la oferta de sol y playa.

En esta actividad está involucrado un amplio colectivo de profesores procedentes esencialmente del Departamento de Didáctica General y Didácticas Específicas de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Alicante y por un equipo de expertos en gestión y educación patrimonial sobre la cultura local, Calidoscopi Estudio.

GeoAlicante cuenta además con un amplio respaldo institucional. Dentro de la Universidad de Alicante, cabe mencionar a la Facultad de Educación, al Instituto Interuniversitario de Geografía, al Vicerrectorado de Cultura, Deportes y Política Lingüística, al Vicerrectorado de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación y al propio Rector. Por parte de la Generalitat Valenciana, contamos con el respaldo del CEFIRE de Alicante. GeoAlicante is a didactic route through the city of Alicante. The aim is to promote a new model of geography between society, revealing to the citizens and visitors the keys to understanding the history of the Alicante territory and show a different way to teach geography through various disciplines.

GeoAlicante takes over from the precursor GeoAlcoi experiences that aim to help raise awareness of the need to contribute to the conservation of the natural and historical heritage, organized from Alcoy Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and with the cooperation of the City local.

GeoAlicante is a collaboration between teachers of the Faculty of Education at the University of Alicante and Alicante 1850, now attached to projects Invattur Embark, Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies of the Valencian Agency of Tourism. GeoAlicante is an innovative design and tourism which has created an App with geolocation application for Android devices, designed by the programmer Antonio Martinez de Alicante Carayol 1850.

We have also incorporated into the App images virtualization heritage featuring monuments and cityscapes from different periods which, together with the new App technologies for mobile, facilitate better understanding of our cultural and natural existing and disappeared legacy, creating a parallel cultural offerings the supply of sun and sand.

This activity is involved a large group of professors from the Department essentially Didactic General and Specific of the Faculty of Education at the University of Alicante and a team of experts in asset management and education about the local culture, Calidoscopi Studio.

GeoAlicante also has a broad institutional support. Within the University of Alicante, include the Faculty of Education, the Interuniversity Institute of Geography, the Department for Culture, Sports and Language Policy, the Office of Research, Development and Innovation and the Rector himself. By the Generalitat Valenciana, we have the support of CEFIRE of Alicante.
