Zed Lite for Android
I was able to access my collections, but not my notes. I'd rather have unclassified notes.
This has the potential to be REALLY GOOD like its desktop version...Zotero wins in desktop, Mendeley wins in android. I want to read in my tab...so, I might change to Mendeley for both desktop and android..
I can access my group libraries and download the PDF attachments. Very good! If I can also upload annotated PDF, I'll give it 5 stars.
Must have mobile companion if you use Zotero.
first use and reports unfortunately ........0 star
The best zotero app by far
Pretty good. Usable
Great efforts......
Awsome
This is incomplete.
The app doesn't help much, cause I store my pdfs on a webdav server.
Nice
Great !
Indeed
I am so glad someone is finally making a functional mobile platform for Zotero. This one is pretty basic, does what it says, but the beta for the full version looks very promising. Even in its present 'lite' form, this is the best option out there for mobile users of Zotero.
Thank you for this application Daniel Favand.
JUNK -- Don't waste your time Sure some people, using the most expensive / powerful devices get this app to work OK, but it's supposed to be available to run on ALL devices. It happens when trying to open the result of a search, and has to be Force Closed to exit -- the dev has promised to "look at" this problem in "a future vision" -- no promises for a fix, no saying when -- and it hasn't been updated for over 6 MONTHS!! ----- NO, DEV SHOULD TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET ---- unfortunately, by putting this out, he's really shi!!ing in his own nest -- the full Zed isn't bad. Sadly, we really have NO apps of this type left out there that haven't been abandoned by their developers, and this is just another one of them. At least Mendeley is there for beginners, but I can't use it since my reference database has over 4000 entries.
I always prefer to link pdf files rather than attach it as a attachment so I can put all pdf files in one directory and manage them using Zotfile. So is this possible to set a base directory (like the desktop version) for pdf links and open pdf locally? thanks for making this app.
I gues i dont need an app to open a link. Just make tasks worst.
Five stars because it works so smoothly and is so very nice to look at. I'm actually trying the beta of the full app now and it seems great, too. Much appreciated!
Slow and not useful
Just got the app and I'm so excited. One thing I wasn't sure if I'm doing wrong or if it is not supported - after I highlighted a doc, I closed it; when I opened it again there were no highlights which is really not helpful. Any way those can be synced with Zotero?
A reasonable attempt. I think this app needs a bit more work. I could see my collection/groups. The official web platform via chrome on Android is better and I have gone back to using that. Couldn't open PDFs. Could sort entries after searching.
I was able to access my collections, but not my notes. I'd rather have unclassified notes.
It is definitely the nicest looking zotero app out there. But when I search and then try to click on a result, the app crashes. This doesn't happen every time, but when it does it never recovers and I have yo force quit.
At long last a decent Zotero app that allows seeing bibliography and stored files! Thank you :)
Awesome idea howeverI need to be able to add and delete articles. Another hand feature to have, allow notes to be saved on journal articles.
Zed Lite dumped all my references into one unsorted list. Meanwhile, it reported all of my Zotero collections as empty. I emailed the developer but never heard back.
Finally there is a decent app to access/edit Zotero libraries (mains and shared.. pretty awesome!). I highly recommend adding notes and attachments visualization (e.g. images, text, extracted annotations) since that's the basic information you use to summarize researchs. Filters and sorting tools are also needed. 5/5 Because it's the best Zotero app out there (yes I've tried them all), but we need those crucial improvements. Keep the good work! Un saludo.
Really good for for a quick lookup. Does not allow the management of your collection (yet), but I don't expect that from such an app.
It is a good start. But for many users of Zotero being able to access attachments stored on a custome WebDAV server is going to be important. Close but no cigar for me yet. Hope you incorporate this in the near future.
Have been waiting for a working zotero app..
Cannot view standalone / child notes in the collections
Good app but need more: author/date/title sort, a nullity to view abstract for each citation, and would be could to be able to access more than one account like google drive
Can't load zotero library from stored somewhere else
