MMRemote for Android
I am thankful for the app, but it needs an update. I suggest a "fast-forward 30 seconds" button.
Awesome app, works great with media monkey on my PC!!
Great app. I installed the server and remote and had everything working in seconds. Very easy to use and great features!
Excellent. Just remember to install server. Better and easier than MM's
Could not live without this remote to allow me to control music playing on my MediaMonkey computer
Yes, it does what it says on the tin! Invaluable app for controlling media monkey remotely :-D
Does what it promised 100 percent
The perfect app if you use MediaMonkey on pc
Works perfectly!
Working pretty well. It's epic
Media Monkey Remote app is excellent for controlling playback of music via MediaMonkey from afar. I highly recommend it, as it rocks this house solidly and consistently and it “just works” every time I use it... I had a minor issue with a web-link, told the developer and it was immediately fixed. The bonus features really complete and complement the apps abilities; make a donation and you won’t be disappointed in my opinion. I have more than 54,000 songs, which are ripped in FLAC and other high quality lossless formats. I easily control playback etc remotely using the Media Monkey Remote on my Galaxy A3 (Android 6.0.1) over wifi, with MediaMonkey Gold on my Win10 desktop rig. Then I'm listening via ears (version 1.0) to an Altec Lansing 120 watt ADA885 speaker system, through a Creative SB Audigy 2 soundboard :-) It IS a VERY LOUD sound system sadly for my neighbourhood though, even if my music collection is eclectic!
I can choose music all over my house.
Full featured, intuitive, and stable.
This app has turned my phone in to a feature rich remote control. Now I can easily manage Media Monkey using my phone. Love this app and highly recommend. P.S. Don't forget to donate if you loved this app.
NEED TO separate the play button from the scrubber, they are too close together. I use it to wake up my computer then I hit play to broadcast the Howard Stern Show to my bathroom. I am able to remotely put the computer to sleep before I go to work.
It works! Very well made, server discovery on my ****ty router force me to do manual configuration. This router need port number explicitly typed in to make them work. On the apps and server, very good job dev!
Really useful for remote control of MediaMonkey. Would be even beter if Vizualiser could be started and stopped from this App [PLEASE!!!] ♡
It's better than the iTunes paid remotes, tons of features and easy to use, I highly recommend it.
Does anyone knows if remove option can be configured to permanently delete a file?
I can control MediaMonkey from anywhere in and outside my house and that makes me a happy bunny
I can choose music all over my house.
Great remote control features for Media Monkey. Easy to use. Reliable. Use it every day.
Brings remote functionality to my digital media setup
This app works very well. I'm able to control my whole music library easily and efficiently right from my Galaxy S7. Except. No volume control! Totally maddening. Like having the coolest car in town on a hottest day of the year--and the AC doesn't work. You can pause. You can mute. But volume controls do not function at all. I even chipped in for the paid version. Nope. For the love of Elvis, PLEASE fix this. And THEN this shall be at Super awesome status. Right now though. Maddening.
I love this app and use it a lot. I'm a huge fan of Media Monkey, and I view this app as an essential component. (Saw someone else complain that volume control doesn't work, but it works fine for me.) My one complaint is that I too often get the error message saying that a server connection could not be made. Not sure if that's a client issue or a server issue, or a problem with Media Monkey itself, but it's pretty frustrating.
Volume sliders are not visible anymore. Very inconvenient.
Need to adjust network and firewall settings to get it to work. Works with Windows 10 and Samsung Note 5. Thanks!
Easy to setup, manage multiple libraries, adjust volume levels without sitting at my PC. Very happy!
Full featured, intuitive, and stable.
But please add a a strip search function (like on PC, where you can click a bar on a track to skip time etc)
Slow, clunky and after all of that work, can't see your MM server, even manually configured (and why is the default port '2000' on the server, but 12511?). Doesn't matter because it doesn't work anyway. Run FAR from this app. Do not waste your time.
It plays okay but have a lot failed searches that i have on my nas. I don't want lyrics or other crap all i want is to stop disconnected from my galaxy s5 and find my songs and i would donate...! I can't be bothered with going to a website it s keeps saying wifi is disconnected and i refresh my wifi and connect again its fine for 5 mins and then i have to do it again its played from a thin client thats always on and even after reboot it does the same. If I use mm with a mouse my music is there all the time
The quit button doesn't work... Doesn't do anything when pressed
Works great for my large library. Only issue is that it doesn't skip 'the' while browsing artists (for example 'the beatles' show up under T instead of B). It's very annoying, and hinders an otherwise great app
Hi, this app has been working great on my computer until I installed this recent update (12/21) on my Android device, and now it gives me an error message saying that the server on the comp is outdated. I went to the comp and tried updating the server, only to find there were no updates available. Please fix! Thanks!
The app does what it says. A little laggy, but yep, fulfills the purpose well.
Simply put, it's the best MediaMonkey remote app there is. On top of that, the developer is quick to help whenever there's an issue. Highly recommended.
The app does everything I need it do with the functionality and ease of access in between!
Volume sliders are not visible anymore. Very inconvenient.

Google Pixel: sick of this app now. Keeps disconnecting. Never finds the server. Can't join the forum. No support. I guess he's given up. Shame, because if it connected well I'd have paid.
