younity: Home Media Server for Android
It scanned the video files but it can't scan subtitle files so i cant play subtitles

Overall nice app. The only thing that bothers me is that the files dont sync automaticly in between devices e.g I add files on my pc but they don't appear on my phone, so i have to manualy remove that folder and add again.
App did not scan any of my files. If you have any problem, there is no intuitive way of contacting customer service. Instead, they use easy way out - endless forums.
Good app.. I can share all my videos to all my coworker because were just in one network we use same id so that they can see all the files available from my laptop.. I hope you can adjust or work with different account but can still share the files in one server.. Because as like this i have to signin to all devices with my account just to have an access in the laptop..
Not bad app, but you are expensive
Very bad apps
Great idea and you can do it better for the ones who pays the membership by adding more features
23 minutes west time
pretty good but wish it support subtitles
I'm 2 happy for this
File management is too minimalistic no choice how to sort the file for instance I want to sort them by date new videos at the top. Also I would like to show them in grid format like Plex. Audio quality questionable, Plex seem to sound better and aimp sounds much better. The positive was installation of server was very easy and not connection or firewall problem which have been the case with both emby and Plex.
Younity doesn't support transfers for files other than media files (.Txt .PDF etc are included). I need this app to be able to send and download ALL files irrespective of their extension. I have purchased the $36 lifetime premium and as a standalone app just for streaming, this is good enough. But it needs improvement in the number of file formats supported (just for downloading). I haven't tested downloading files between two PC's yet but I assume I won't be able to download any file I want.
App Downloaded efficiently and appears easy to use but there is no obvious way to use the free version on the mobile devise despite being on the same network.
This apps is sooo good, but it would be great if you could watch it with a subtitle
... Every time I try play anything I get popups that I have to buy premium of nearly £3 a month.... That's not free... Plus it keeps crashing and no way to organise videos and music into folders
Altough I can access the video files from my PC, I just cannot play them. It keeps loading and loading..
This is not a free application as mentioned. You need pay 6 monthly USD to use it.
Good but offline not free
be good
Need to add Subtitles supported for the videos watched
Nice its not offline
Nice
Good
Really loving this app as it is working great anywhere in house
it's required premium subscription
Good
Excellent idea
Even when on the same network the start trial popup can't be avoided. Not usable now, needs payment info first for trial? Not happening.
App crashes after few mins of video. And full screen no black background.
This app requires you to get a $2.99/month subscription for it to be useful. I wanted to be able to download files and post them on Instagram, but you can't download them without paying.
This is not free. Trying to open any file brings up the premium upgrade prompt with no option to decline.
Not free!!
Total waste of time
Very usefull app with pc
LoL.. why you say that it is free ???? You cant watch any video you cant listen to any music unless you subscribe lol.... oooh at least you can see files on your PC!!wow i am impressed ffs...apparently younity is the only app that let you see files from your PC Yes?
I've downloaded Younity for PC
If that's the case then this app isn't practical for me.

It just doesn't let me login via google account. That's very annoying.
