About Guitar Music Analyzer Free

The analyzer takes sound from the microphone input or music files on your device (MP3 and Ogg Vorbis). It shows the frequency graph in real-time, from which you can recognize the played notes. The frequency graph is projected on the guitar for easy interpretation. The best matching common chords are displayed automatically.

You can pause and replay recordings and navigate through sound files.

With Guitar Music Analyzer, transscribing guitar music becomes an easy visual task.

Awesome app, it correctly identifies all chords. But to use this app you must be well known about all scales and chords combinations to choose correct chords from display.

R70%
by R####:

Does exactly what it says. Gives you the chords and if you follow the graphs close enough, you can even make out the tabs! Analyzes any mp3 file. Hats off to the developer for making it free!

Hey very helpful clean explanatory app I appreciate the opportunity to add such a helpful app to my cell big thanks

R70%

Bad reviews are by the musically incompetent

V70%
by V####:

I tried it with several of my own compositions It failed miserably to identify most of the chords. Most people would do better identifying the chords by ear, and this app is not going to help those that can't.

K70%
by K####:

I have a mac application that attempts to do the same for so much more money. This is actually very accurate and intuitive. Highly recommended for musicians learning to play by ear

E70%
by E####:

Works great for slow chord progression but terrible when the pace picks up

K70%
by K####:

Still giving 5 stars even though I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity and see the indiviual frequency id screen at the top bigger I.e. a bit more customisable. Either way great app!

K70%
by K####:

very useful reverse engineering a song... no more guessing at the chord patterns

A70%
by A####:

This app works well considering it is attempting mimic what the ear can do. Technology has come a long way and this was/is a very difficult task to do in the form of an app. For those who complain about it not being perfect, its not going to be. If you expect it to "decode" every chord and note you're expecting too much. If you're downloading this thinking you can figure out how to play all your favorite songs the best thing you can do is learn to read music.

K70%
by K####:

Brilliant little app, works especially well with simple arrangements. 5 stars for an averaging mode to recognise most likely chords in more complex arrangements.

I70%
by I####:

Brilliant app. Suggest adding a save recording feature. Also, l get an out of memory error after capture and then loading a track. Force close fixes

K70%
by K####:

Add a slow-mo option and it's priceless. I will second the request for strumming but that would be helped by slow motion. For now you can slow your mp3 down (resample) and it will play just fine.

K70%
by K####:

not working for me, tried 10 songs recognized 0 chords
