dotpict - Easy to Pixel Arts

Hey! This is the best Android Pixel Art app. Period. I love the fact that you can actually SEE the cursor, instead of taking a shot in the dark on occasion. However, there's one thing missing... When can we animate this stuff? Believe me, if you make it possible to animate Pixel characters in this app (or make another app for it, totally up to you), this will also be the best Pixel Art Animation app too!

A really great app, for both newbie and senior pixel artists. It's simple, straightforward and gives you peace of mind when making pixel creations. My only reasoning for not adding a 5-star rating is that you can't pick and choose your own colors-what comes with the downloadable color palettes is what you get. However, you could use that as a challenge for creating something interesting... Regardless, this really is a great app to use. I highly recommend it.

I honestly really loved this app. It was my first time ever doing pixel art and this made it relatively easy to do. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is how we cannot add more colors to our pallet. Yes, we can change the colors, but this will change the colors of your drawing and not actually "add more color." I also like the idea of being able to make an account so we could connect to our drawings across divices. That would make this perfect.

I think its great! I just wish there were more ways to get colors. I know you can change the colors but I wish we could switch the color packs all together. Maybe an 'Edit' option? Sorry if I'm missing something, but if this review helps, your welcome!

This is a great app, and underrated. It's an easy way to creat pixel art on the go and on your favorite Android devices. The only problem is the lack of colors you want to use when creating some pictures. You need to be able to create your own palette so you don't get stuck with a color you don't want and get every color you do. Overall, this is a great app and I'd recommend it to anyone that wants to get into pixel art.

I think it was great and all..... but it's anyoing to hold a button while Drawing

This is amazing, I love everything. However, I have 3 ideas for improvement: • When creating a palette from an image, an eye dropper tool would be very useful. • Using two fingers to zoom in and out would be helpful. • Improve the dot button. Often it turns off when using two fingers at a time and can become annoying.

Still the best Pixel making app in phone,very easy and makes you appreciate pixel art more! , but there seemed to be a bug in the gallery section, I have over 30+ canvas and they seemed to dissapear or doubled from time to time, I hope you'll be able to fix it! I also noticed that the sharing of artworks in twitter takes time to show up in the app, the same with the trending section...I hope you'll be able to fix it (^o^)/ ♡ stay awesome guys

I'll be getting a new phone soon and would like to export my dotpic art to it. I've tried hard, but can't find a way to move the files. I'd really appreciate some help :/ Other than that I love the app, always have!

The app is great but the only issue I'm having is I have already like 30 canvas and some of them went missing? I hope that it will not dissappear forever cuz you know, those drawings are important to me and i can't find them. I cannot view all my arts in the gallery section. Please fix this bug. P.s. also I have some arts that repeats when I view the gallery I think it's a bug too.

I love this app a lot! BUT I think there needs to be a way were we can make the background transparent! Maybe there already is a way and I just can't find it, or you need to add one, either way I will rate 5 stars if someone could help me.

A very good app, I use this a lot when I leave my house and decide to work on something. But there is a weird issue I can't get over... When I use the grid to separate my pixels so it's easier to see, the pencil tool looks like it's trying to keep up with my movements (that and the lit up square that tells you where you're drawing) but that doesn't happen when you disable the grid. If you can fix this annoyance, please do.

I would give this a five star for the ability to make and save your own pallets and such, but can you please make it optional to use both your right and left hand? As well as to need to hold down the 'dot' button to draw. It really throws me off, other than that, good!

This is the far best app to draw pixel art, I've used it for many times. But lately I guess the cursor just shakes too much (maybe I have trembling hand). It would be better if there's an option to change it to be arrow button sort of control. Thanks.

Easy to use, fun and cute app! Anyone can create pixel art even if you can't draw. If you're bored of pixel art, play one of three mini games: jump sharks, fishing, and block puzzle. Minimal ads, never bored with this app!

This app is good for pixel art, but lacks precise colour picking. You either need to eyeball the colour you want, or fight the imprecise and frustrating "pallete from picture". It would be greatly improved if one could add colours by hex code. If a better colour picking system was added, I would give it 5 stars, but in the current state, precise colours are maddeningly impossible.

I really love this app!! but I feel there could be some improvements, like making a select and move tool (I hate it when I wish to move a part of a picture around but I've already spent a while on it) or a way to flip the canvas horizontally

Love this app! Easy to use, and the cursor feature is ingenious because you can actually see what you're drawing. Only giving it four stars because it needs to change the color system. The palettes are really nice but I'd like to be able to use more than one on a painting, and the manual color picker isn't great.

This app is very simple to use with about the same amount of features you would think a paid app for pixel art would have. The people giving four star reviews are usually bringing up features that are already in the app that they cant seem to figure out so I would recommend a more detailed tutorial on the full potential of this app. It took me quite a while to figure out you could add colors to your palette without ruining the piece :)

It shows sharing fine, sizes for it, all good. Everything works but the sharing is a problem on my phone. It won't share my pictures! ;~; can you try and fix this if you can plz?

The app as a whole is very fun and easy, but the 'dotting button' is slightly confusing for me. ALSO the color palettes are nice, but it's annoying having to think about what to make and then based on what you will make you have to pick a color palette with just the right colors for what you are making. I think you should have all the main colors laid out for you to use I stead of a color pallette thing. Other than that the game is cute and we'll designed and fun.

I love it, it's great for all pixel artists, whether they're new to it or have had lots of experience. My only issue is the limited colours. I'd give this a 5-star if you could have unlimited colours, or at least more than 16.

Cmon really? Its cute and all but the grid is so small and all the blocks are so BIG try making somthing cute, i cant even fit the eyes in without it looking Bleeeeeeeech. Controls are hard to its frustrating and hard, so only a 3 star for it, cmon guys i had to waste 367 MB for this app

The app is pretty okay, but I think you should change it to where wherever you click on the canvas it adds a pixel to where you clicked. It is kinda annoying for me to just select a spot then have to click a button to add a single pixel.

Very great app. I like it a lot and it's super easy to draw pixel art! There really aren't any problems.... No ads or anything like that. 10/10 recommend to 8-bit artists!

This is a great drawing app.

I really like this app, but there a few things that keep me from rating it higher. Firstly, it needs more canvas sizes. The highest it goes is 96x96, and that just isn't big enough. The other big issue I have is the color selector: the sliders are so finicky with moving. The slider layout also makes it difficult to get similar colors. An easy solution would be to just replace the sliders with the color selector seen in most photo-editing programs for example. I honestly don't think either of these issues would be that hard to fix.

This app is amazing for pixel art! It's so easy to use and the colors and canvas size are super customizable. It's such a well made app all around and I love it so much and I can't say enough good things about it!

Honestly I think its the easiest way to make pixel art on a phone, since you can move the cursor without actually touching the pixel you want to colour, and have a specific button to paint. The problem might be the 16 color limitation, but otherwise it's fine

This app is so easy to use but, I'd like a change for the way you only have a limited amount of colors. I thing you should be able to change the color without the color on your work changing aswell.

I did like this app but the whole 'having to draw with one hand and press with the other' thing got frustratingly difficult. I imagine some people can do this fine but not me.

This app is so cool and fun to use. You can use it without a stylus and work with multiple sizes of pixels. It's nice to have a way to draw when I'm stuck somewhere boring without my sketchbook.

I love this app! The ONE, SINGLE problem is that the pencil is a little hard to use, but all in all pretty much my favorite app on my phone.

I have been looking for Lisle art makers and this is the best one garenteed I love it!!!!! Maby update it to make gifs on it? I'm not sure if it dose yet but if you have the time please make it so you can make gifs TYSM ;3

Barely able to use. The basic steps for coloring dots is okay, but the controls for other things isn't as intuitive. Not to mention, if you want to edit your pallette even slightly, or use a photo for a pallette, you'll end up hitting ten ads and needing to start all over each time. I'd recommend either getting a different app or just using graph paper and colored pencils.

Surprisingly easy to draw with. Exporting files has been confusing for me, but that's a user error haha

This app is amazing!! I'm on it all the time and I had spent at least 24 hours in 3 days using the app like I never used something before, I am really in love with this app.

You know what would make dragging your finger around the screen easier? Holding down a stupidly large button with your other hand while you do it.

It's an amazing app, except for ONE thing. It like... freezes whenever I try to edit the color palette, and usually it crashes so uh... plz fix that? Other than that it's FABULOUS!!

This was my first time doing pixel art, so I was looking for an app to make some pixel art. I was looking and I saw this. I can't stop using it. Good job :D
