MetroCalc helps you use up leftover money on NYC MTA MetroCards.
NOTE: MetroCalc is (finally) updated! Unfortunately the old signing key expired, so current users will have to remove this version and reinstall the new MetroCalc.
You tell it how much value your card has, and it will tell you how much to add to take advantage of the 7% bonus and end up with an even number of subway fares, with no leftover change.

Love it. I travel all over city. Use it all the time. However would be great if you could show an additional tier for how much money to add. I like to add 40-50 dollars at times but app only shows lesser amounts. Would be also good to add pennies as a denomination.

The MetroCard bonus amount is now 7%.The recent update allows the user to now enter dollar amounts in increments of one cent, making this a very useful app!
