Tasker App Factory

Sometimes external Android shortcuts are not supported by a particular app. However some Android apps work on such an app. Well I am using this when I can't use shortcuts. It solved my problem.

A great plugin for the amazing tasker app! I just have 2 small issues, unsure where to officially report. 1). On my Huawei P9 (nougat) running apps made with app factory will cause the previous running activity to open aswell (Facebook, camera, Firefox, etc., whatever the last visible running app was) every time - So far I have only tested this with apps I made that use telephony/direct dial to dial USSD codes. 2). As others mentioned here, sometimes you cant install made apps on different android version, gives parsing error. Temp fix for affected users: export/build your apps from a kk device.

Note 8 on 7.1.1 with premium Tasker installed. Exporting task as app results with notification of 'Package installer has crashed'. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work. Was working on custom ROM with previous 7.1.2.

I'm of the thought that a PERMANENT 5 star badge should be on Tasker app.. In fact a six star badge JUST FOR TASKER...

For goodness sake people. READ. The description is very specific. This app is inherently INVISIBLE. You can NOT launch it on its own. It will NOT show in your app drawer. It is an EXTENSION of another app. Buy the app "Tasker", and you can use it from WITHIN the Tasker app. There are tutorials out there for this. Do people not read App descriptions anymore? Especially the part about this being a PLUGIN?!!

It helped me a lot, for those who don't read description please don't review it. I needed an app to create an apk for Evernote's quick note activity and I made it easily and now I have placed it on nav bar for quick access.

Please check as the generated apk says parse error when installing on any device. I'm using latest tasker from play store. I also reinstalled this but still it gives error parsing package.

The latest version works just fine. The only reason it has a lower rating is due to incompetence on the users' end.

Can't believe how stupid people are being for leaving 1* reviews because they can't find the app or open it?? Read the description! Does exactly as it is designed to do.

After tasker update, images are missing from in the scenes of the exported app. Could you please fix this.

It gets a bad rep cause morons don't know how to read. Not gonna bother explaining what it does because it won't get read by the morons.

Since last update app factory isn't working. It use to flawlessly but now keeps giving me an image error when building an app.

This is my 5th device that I'm using this on - awesome, on every one of them. Does exactly what it says ;) Thx guys!

People giving it a bad review are idiots who either can't/won't read or smartphones are really just boxes with screens which they expect to work like magic. Sigh.

This is better than 3.9 stars, to the people saying they can't find it, it's an extension​, NOT an app...

How much more can you be specific? First thing you read is that its an extension, you can't launch it and you can't run it without the latest version of tasker. If you don't have that then don't get this.

Cannot find it after I installed it. No icon and not listed under applications

When I export the app, open it, it says that the app stopped

THIS APP IS A PLUGIN! YOU CANNOT LAUNCH IT! YOU CAN ONLY USE THIS THROUGH THE APP "TASKER"!!! find it amazing that to this day, there are still people reviewing this and saying "i cnt opn, its not un my apps drawer, how use? " To you, good sir, I palmface. Step 1: READ the app description. It surely isn't that difficult a TASKER for you. If it is, well, don't bother with this. The first three lines explain everything. Leaving a bad rating because you fail to read the instructions is unacceptable.

This app places Tasker over and above other automation apps. My main issue with it is that if you create an app that has scenes, the scene elements do not scale with the device screen resolution.
