PDroid Manager for Android
There is still much work to do, but this application with openpdroid framework offers unmatched control over the information the applications can access. Go to xda look for autopatcher and get the patch to get the definitive control over your android.
Cant you make a link straight to the download couse I cant find the download anywhere.
Constant crash.
I'm using a custom ROM on my phone and PDroid supports it, but I'm getting a message suddenly that it doesn't support it. Otherwise I'd give this 5 stars. Update: Found a great application called ApG that lets you auto-patch roms for PDroid compatibility. My issues have been resolved. I would however like to know the minimum permissions required to prevent the gray data bars.
This is an excellent manager for OpenPDroid.
JB 4.1.2
Working really great in conjunction with temasek's unofficial CM ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Does what it is supposed to do with ease and a very good user interface. This app together with the OpenPDroid framework makes you successful in fighting the corpoliticals and advertisers, feels really good to have total control over my phone again. Highly recommended for beating the man!
Exactly what I was looking for to manage app permissions. Used the auto patcher on cm 10.1. It rocks.
Didn't work!
I really don't like how you need to patch the ROM to use it.
Power to the people.
Blocks permissions that I do not want apps to have. Priceless. The autopatcher works great and is very easy to use.
Doesn't work s4 mini
This crap don't work s5

Please let the notification be cleared on user demand, I don't have to set options for every app I i install

I read the XDA thread and still nothing useful how to make it work, especially on nexus devices, in my case - nexus 4.
You can get rid of the creapy "camera" & "record audio", etc permissions that apps like Facebook get by default. Up yours Suckenburg! Using on a GSII Skyrocket, running Embryo 6.
Not Woking
You have my eternal gratitude for your work on this project. Been working great on nexus 4 aokp 4.2.1 using OpenPdroid. i compiled with provided patches and am amazed at how well everything works considering this early stage of development. thank you! auto-patcher script also worked fine on same rom before i tried compiling with the patches.
Without overly obtrusive notifications like with the PDroid 2.0 app, and without crashing as much as the PDroid 2.0 app. Looking forward to further development and new features :-)
Easy to manage app permissions. Crashes when saving an app with no permissions. Five stars when log viewing is added :). Great work and thank you for this great app.
Yeah I ain't trying to modify phone to use an app sorry.

The best app for privacy protection, but it's a little complicated to set up.
