SolCalendar - Calendar / To do

I never rate apps so that alone proves how impressed I am with this one. I've only got it last week but it has made my life so much easier since then...It has so many options (one of my fav ones is an option to repeat a certain event as often as you need to), cute stickers and everything is so pretty. Useful and beautiful, highly recommended.

Tried different calendars but keep going back to SolCal. The Google maps integration has worked the best so far in my experience. Other calendars open a fake Google maps where the search function is limited. SolCal seems to use the full search function where names of companies or places can be used instead of just the address. The large icons for events are a nice touch and it makes it easy to see at a glance.

I have been using this calendar since about a week on my OP3 and Nexus 6p and liking it. Interface is smooth and nice to look at. Works as intended. My only gripes about this is - 1. There should have been option of attaching files to events and reminders. Just think of this scenario- I have a vacation coming up for which I have booked travel tickets..hotel and sightseeing tour. Now if I could have those PDF files attached to the event details, it would have been very convenient

All my calendars,check! Perfect widget, check! Love the look, love the badge when a meeting starts. Then time for a conference call, on the run, EPIC FAIL, it's not recognized as a phone number, no link with number already dialed. Blackberries did that 12 years ago. WORSE, I couldn't hold and select the number to copy it either. I had to open the stock calendar to join my call from my phone!

To start, tasks are a must for a calendar app for me, yet there are very few apps that do it and do it well. This one does. Secondly, a highly customizable widget is important. Also, one that displays enough information to get you through the day. Todoist is an example of how bad an Android widget can get. Can't wait to see if my productivity rises. If it doesn't, the problem is definitely me.

The reminder and alarm in to-do just doesn't work on my Galaxy S7 Edge when the device is not in use and standby. I have already check all possible settings that can prevent notification from prompting and the reminder from calendar event works just fine , only the task reminder doesn't work. help me to fix it PLEASE as I use to-do reminder frequently!! ( I swicthed to here from awesome calendar which obviously their team stopped investing time on their product, their app crashes on all my ios and android device, and the last time they respond to user feed back was more than half year ago!)

I need a calendar to keep up with all of my assignments for my classes and originally this was perfect. However, since the update removed color coding it's not getting the job done. The app itself is wonderful, but without color coding it's virtually a waste for me because I can't visually tell my classes apart

I love this apps, I mainly use it for syncing my company caldav calendar. However, when my password changed in server I have been prompted to input the new password in apps, and once input the new password and it will prompt to input user ID, which is not able to be input as the field cannot be selected. I have to delete the profile eventually and add again.

So far I mostly like this but the app keeps automatically adding reminders to the events I've created when I really don't want reminders 30 and 10 minutes before every event. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to delete one instance of a recurring event -- for example if a hockey practice isn't happening due to a holiday I can't delete the entry on that day, it forces me to delete the whole series.

This satisfies all my needs, the Google Cal sync, widget varieties, good design, minimal clean style, and super cute stickers & color customization. Plus it has features I didn't know I needed but have boosted my productivity and life organization. Love love love so much!!!

Beautiful app but it only has a portrait orientation which makes it less than desirable on tablets. Add a landscape orientation with auto-rotate and I will reevaluate. Also, it seems to run a little slow, even on a Galaxy S6.

I've been using Sol Calendar for 2 years. It is a very useful app. But recently the chosen color for events will be changed after setting done. Please fix this problem~ Thanks again for this good design.

Not only did I find the perfect calender I was looking for, it also solved my todo list problem. Makes so much more sense having them in the same app.

Whenever you choose a color to your event, it looks fine at first, but then it turns to the ugly automatic blue color, with no way of changing it to the selected color. Would love for your assistance because otherwise it would have been my go to calendar.

For some reason, the app keeps coming up with a dialog box that says the app couldn't open properly or something; it happens whenever my calendar events go off. What gives?? It worked fine before...

When I used to create an event, I would be able to use a color for a different event... Now that feature isn't there...what happened to it? Please, put it back. I don't really use the stickers but the colors I liked to distinguish certain events or appointments. Please put the colors back!!

If I press "disable notifications" then why do I keep getting notifications of any kind? I don't want my phone asking me about weather, or reminding whatever. 1 star until you learn English and what "disable notifications" means

SolCalendar is a great app, but I generally use the widget to manage my agenda. However if you scroll to the bottom of he widget to view relevant information in agenda view, the widget crashes and display's zero data. The only way to reset it is delete and create a new widget, this is cumbersome.

So much good, but two glaring issues... Just installed SolCalendar on my Galaxy Tab S2. So much of the App and the Widgets are well thought out -- clean, intuitive, etc. And I love the idea of a single app that can integrate my Work (Exchange) and personal (Google, and iCloud) calendars. But there are two issues I can not overlook: 1. This app really needs a landscape view. I use my S2 as much like a laptop as I do like a tablet. 2. The app gets stuck at "Add account" when trying to add an Exchange account. Screen is gray, and nothing else happens. I'm not ready to give up yet. I'm hoping for updates...

I was looking for a replacement for Sunrise and I love SolCal. However, the widget is a huge drain on my Samsung Tab5. I bit the bullet and nuked it thinking it was a different problem and it worked great until I added the socal widget back. It is the only widget currently running and my tablet won't charge to 100 overnight if it's running. it plays better with my droid turbo 2..but still is a drain.

Best feature for me besides perfect syncing with Google calendar is the copy and paste feature for multiple repeating appointments like shift schedules. Would be perfect if there were an option to save repeating appointment types (ex. "Morning work shift") so you don't have to go back and copy it.

Should be able to zoom in for the week (day?). Should make colours related to 'categories' of tasks. Also annoying glitch with colours.

Good app. A bit clunky event and todo handling but I've found no better experience in other apps

The timetable widget disappeared from my homepage and disappeared from the widgets list. Also, I now seem to be unable to change the colour of my events at any calendar and the colours I had on any previous events turned the preset colour on the main calendar I have associated. WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED?

When I tap the Exchange button to add an Exchange calendar account, nothing happens. Nothing. App just sits there. No error. Nothing.

I love this calendar, but it crashes constantly since the last update. Not sure why...I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, everything. The "Solcalendar has stopped working." pop-ups are getting super annoying.

Still getting used to it. There are a few things that have been frustrating but I like it much better than Google calendar so far.

Ok, so this app had way too many bugs! We complained on the community, we complained on Play Store, no response whatsoever for over a year!! Now a few days ago, some new version with no changelog? Have the notifications for recurring to-dos been fixed? Has the weather been fixed? Remains to be seen! EDIT: Nope! Not fixed!

AVOID THIS APP. I'm using the app on Android Marshmallow, Note 7. The calendar widget sometimes does not update when you add a new entry. The app itself also stops working once in a while when I'm adding an entry. One day later, the To-do color options have disappeared and is only one color that you set in the settings. This isn't worth keeping on your phone.

Updating review over a year later. App is fantastic! I still use it everyday and love it! | love this app with the weather integration and syncing capabilities. It would be nice if there was a way to set a default calendar for the creation of new appointments and another way to sync all calendar appointments to another email account.

I get really scattered and lost, and this is really useful. It has a lot of interface, so you can customize it how you want to. And it has the capability to be a widget, which is nice if you constantly have you're phone on you! Really awesome, really great.

I loved this app (rated 5 starts before) but wish I hadn't updated since several useful features have disappeared. We can't choose colors anymore, but especially without the search function it is so inconvenient. I relied on it so much since I mostly used the app for keeping track of what I did rather than planning ahead and now I can't search a term up and check any of it easily. PLEASE PLEASE bring the search option back!!!!! I really don't want to use another calendar :( I love solcalendar!!!

It has come up with a notice that it cannot sync my iCloud calendar even though it has been syncing for months.

I realky like the app. However, I can't sync my SolCal calendars with my other devices. Is there any way to solve this?

Usually I will uninstall any app I downloaded for a while, but this app I kept using it. Functional and nice presentation but one flaw...while saving calendar date if it auto jump appointment end date to next day, it cannot be edited. I have to delete that particular entry and do it again. If not it's 5 stars.

I've been using sol for several months, & today for no obvious reason, it cleared all my information except for a couple of crummy to-dos. WTF?! Now what? I can't possibly remember all the Appointments & information that disappeared!

I recently downloaded this app and so far like the design and relative ease of use. It would also be nice to prioritize tasks by dragging them up/down on the list.

Those stickers shown on the calendar really helps. I was wondering though, if there's a way to sync with Facebook birthday dates.

Why did you remove colors???? Colors is what categories my school reminders from my daily life reminders. Please please put those lovely colors back.

Does what I want beautifully while looking good...does crash sometimes, especially while running as a widget just shows a blank agenda until you tap to add something then back out of it then it will work properly again
