Pocket Ringer

Pocket Ringer is a tool to change the ringer mode automatically based on the device movement.


What this app can do:
• Change the ringer mode automatically when the device is in motion or stable on the table.
• Make the device SILENT when flips the device (screen downward).
• The app service works in background; so it will not interrupt any other application.
• The app service will restart automatically when the device will restart (if the service is ON in settings).


How to use:
→Go to Settings at the top right corner
→Turn ON or OFF the app service in Settings page


Settings:
•  The app ON / OFF
•  Notification icon: when the app is running; an icon will be visible at the top notification bar.
•  Not Moving: change ringer mode when the device is laying on flat table (the screen on top).
•  In Pocket: change ringer mode when the device is in motion.
•  Flip Mobile: change ringer mode to SILENT when you flip the device (Suitable when you don’t want any sound, for example in a meeting, you can flip the device and the ringer mode will be silent. NOTE: if the device changes position from flipped, the ringer mode will also be changed according to settings).


How it works
It works based on the sensor. When the device changes its state (in motion or stable or flipped), the app detects it using sensor information, and changes the ringer mode.

Note: the app will takes few seconds (depends on different devices) to change the ringer mode when the device changes its state.


Testing:
Tested on Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android 4.4.2), Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android 4.3) and Sony Xperia Miro (Android 4.0.4). Have not tested in tablet, if you get problems using in tablet, please write a feedback.
