Instant Radar

Not updated since May of 2013! Saw a review where author emailed back saying no longer developing this App. UPDATE: Mar 2017... Like others have found out after updating from Android 5.xx to 6.xx, Location doesn't work. Strange. My other radar Apps work fine, however. This App is dead. I'll soon uninstall it. Good while it was working. ????

Before marshmallow 6.0 this was my favorite radar app. Now that I have been updated to marshmallow 6.0 it no longer works. I have uninstalled and re- installed several times. No dice. When opened it states that it cannot determine the current location and then defaults to Chicago! I live in Ohio. There is also no access to the settings menu. All location settings are set correctly. This is a Samsung Galaxy Note IV.

The blank screens have stopped, but now we get some screens that stay longer than others and the animations are out of order. No settings menu. This should be simple: an app that goes straight to animated radar. No more. No less. But lately that seems to be a challenge. What good is animated radar when the screens are not in sequence?

This was a 5 star app. Weather Underground has changed something and the scripts no longer work. It could be fixed with an update. I don't see that happening since the last update was in 2013. It had a good run!

Doesn't show all of West Tn like it used to. Very annoying! Also shows me Chicago radar 50% of the time

This app is the fastest updating radar on the market. The image is alright , not the most amount of features but worth having for the lastest radar imagery. Still the fastest updates as of May 30th 2013

Like others have said, it now thinks I live in Chicago and I can't make it understand otherwise. Was great.

Quit working. Stays zoomed in on Alaska. Can't zoom out, location quit working. Fix it or remove it from the playstore!

This used to be my favorite and most opened app on my phone, until it stopped working completely and only shows me a zoomed in map of way up north canada with no ability to zoom in or out. It doesn't work anymore in any way, please update it for latest version of android.

Was not working . It couldn't determine my location so I deleted it. Now having problems reinstalling it. This is a new day and the same problems. I had to Uninstall the app again this time it installed. But it still keeps saying it can't determine my location.

Was working great on my ZTE virgin mobile.. Then 2 weeks ago.. It's locked on zoom in... Doesn't work at all now.... Please fix.

Loved it, it loaded instantly. IT RECENTLY CRASHED. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still is stuck in zoomed region of Artic.

I would give it 5 stars but it's been broken for a week. :( showing somewhere in an ocean with wrong time.

Not sure what happened, but this app worked great until 3 weeks ago. It will not load my local radar, only gives me the great Lakes radar. Please fix it.

I don't know what happened, yesterday it worked, but today nothing. Ts 8 coming and it decided that my internet connection is bad. I tried 3 different hot spots and it still won't work

Since update to marshmallow 6.0 app can't connect through Wi-Fi or 4G. Says connection error, check your Internet connection. Get this corrected and it will be my favorite radar app again.

But, after the most recent android update, it can't determine my location and gives me only Chicago. Ironically, if I lived in Chicago this would be ideal... But, I do not. Please fix!

This app is awesome!! A super simple radar app that is fast an easy to use. A lot of other apps are bloated with weather prediction, current weather, satellite view, etc. This app is purely a radar viewer, which is exactly what I got it for!

Says check internet connection. Uninstalled and re-installed several times. Still does it. Even on my wife's cell too!!! Loved it til now.

Only shows me Chicago radar. I don't live in Chicago. :( my locations are turned on and it still won't work.

Still don't know what happened, but it's working again. Best nothing-but-radar app I've tried...when it's working. Add scroll function and I'll add a 5th star...if it works...

Do you really need to allow scam adds to flash on the top of the map page? "Your phone is infected, click HERE now"

Was a great radar app when I had a galaxy s5 but got the new note 5 and poof it went down hill. No options anymore. Horrible blackouts. Not fixed.

Keeps telling me can't find location. Used to work, what happened?

Running on Galaxy Note 4. Verizon pushed update up to v6.0 (Marshmallow) and location lookup fails for this and a few other apps. However some work fine.

Not sure what's up with this app, I had problems last time I upgraded to a new phone, now on Galaxy s7 edge, app claims can't find my location, GPS been on 15 minutes prior to opening app, down loaded another app and it shows exactly where I am, for some reason my prior phone started working but it was awhile after I bought it not sure why that was, now having same problem

Junk!!!!!! Was great. Now it can't find my location. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still does not work. Uninstalled for good. Please fix, otherwise what's the point of having this app?

Had my marshmallow OS for 4 months now, please fix your products so they work! I loved your apps, but now they are useless.

Use to Love the App. Now since I have a new Samsung Galaxy 7 edge, App can not determine my location.

I'm giving 3 stars because I am in denial. It goes to Chicago only.. No! I keep reinstalling. I keep checking permissions. Over and over again in disbelief... i have emailed the developer. I live about 800 miles from him. I may drive over there. So sad.... UPDATE - The Developer responded to my email, and said he is no longer developing this app, unfortunately. RIP instant radar :(
