Go North East

I am working 48 hours this week and the app has crashed 6 times, I had to pay for the bus today, even though I have paid a lot of money for a months pass. I find using the app more convenient as I do not tend to carry cash often however the app has many problems and need to be resolved, as it is a good idea it just doesn't work.

How long does it take to buy a bus ticket? With this app an age! Managed to select what type of ticket I needed then waiting for checkout took an age, in fact I'd still be waiting now! Waste of memory....

Totally rubbish, can't get bus times, stop information or anything for that matter. App won't even let me contact customer services to ask why the app doesn't work. None of their other apps have worked well either, worse than their bus service and that is a hard thing to achieve. Please don't bother wasting your time with this one. ZERO STARS

Ignoring all of the other features... The process of buying, activating, and displaying a ticket is consistently reliable. Which is all that matters to me. I'm not sure what so many people are having trouble with because in my 6+ months of using the app it had crashed once.

It's a waste of time because it no longer shows bus times. I expect it stopped for the holiday period, because they couldn't be bothered to keep up with the timetable changes.

What has happened to the live bus times? The ability to look up bus times from a chosen stop is no longer available! The only options now are for purchasing tickets or viewing existing tickets! Sort it out please!

Live timings not on most of the time. When they are they're not always accurate. Picking a bus stop often gives the wrong times or misses buses going one way. Arriva app is much better

Freezes often. Fails to log in. Often has multiple options for the same stop making it confusing finding the right info. Live bus times are not live at all. All it does is quote the timetable. If I wanted to know the timetable I'd look at the sign on the stop. Uninstalling.

I have an account on the website to buy tickets. I can log in, change things and it all works. The app, using the same id and password, says I am unrecognised and I cant login. I can even do a password reset from the app and this works on the website but not on the app. No way of flagging up problems from inside the app either. Useless.

Suddenly the timetable information has disappeared making the app almost pointless. The features were good and comprehensive but this app crashes far too often to be considered professionally produced, and I'm using a powerful OnePlus 3T.

Bought ticket on app. Had app open to get on bus. App kicks me out and will not let me log back in. Had to buy a new ticket. Will be claiming my money back. Happened too many times now. Will not be using go north east app again. Would give it 0 stars if there was an option

This app has always been buggy but now they have removed the ability to see what time buses are due. This is a 'core' function of this app. I don't trust the app to manage my tickets but do use it for times. Unless this returns there is no need for me to use the app. Go North East, please fix this app.

Says log in failed every single time. Even though they work just fine on your website.. pointless installing

Since I was forced to update the app I have issues loading my tickets and have had to pay again for bus journeys. Please bring out an update to fix this. It worked fine before. If it ain't broke don't fix it

I would give it minus stars if i could! Crashed wouldnt re open no matter what i did couldnt get on the bus as i had no money only my bank card half an hour in a queue to customer services then they had to okey it with a supervisor and ring me back...after id reinstalled it and it was saying my ticket was purchased on a different device...hour late for work which i dont get paid for...thank you very f*****g much...cheers! This was 3 years ago I've tried it again... still doesn't work properly!!!

I would give this zero stars if possible. Multiple times I have got onto my bus and the app hasn't loaded. So the fortune I spend on a monthly ticket is then added to with single ticket purchases due to a rubbish app. I will not be renewing my monthly ticket with you and I will return to Arriva, who provide a far better app and a far better service.

Usually crashes just as I go to show my ticket. Or on a good day just takes forever to load. Samsung Note 4

It won't do anything except give me a list of services! My mobile is connected to fast wi-fi but this app will not connect to the server for the timetable and keeps asking me to check my connection.

Can't see any basic information on bus routes. Cant see normal dqy today prices to compare prices. I only use bus to get to work 4 days a week no way of finding out best deal.

Absolute rubbish. It crashes all the time. Is slow and as its an app which needs to be used in real time it holds up buses while it crashes and reloads - incredibly slowly. Every update seems to make it worse too. Awful awfuuull awful.

No live bus times! I loved that feature. Can we have that back?! Crashes a lot. Very slow. Great idea very badly made.

Works, but has a habit of freezing when a bus gets within 20 feet of the phone. Good thing the bus drivers are aware of the issue and are ok about it. The live departures have disappeared from it as well, which isn't particularly helpful when you're trying to plan a journey where you need more than one bus.

I don't know who thought the latest version was the one to go for, but it is now totally useless. Tells me incorrect times or that there are no buses scheduled for my stop. Used to just be able to tap in the service number and a whole list of times came up!

The only good part about this app is the bus timetables, worked on the iPhone version but nothing shows up on the Android one. Pathetic.

Used to be great but bus stops and live timetables disappeared, then ticket froze just as bus was coming. Luckily driver was patient and waited for me to close and reopen. App has crashed a few times recently.

The thing won't even let me login never mind buy a ticket. Waste of time. I've had problems with the go north east website as well and even something simple like getting a working keycard. Sick of go north east!

Crashes, can't log in. I like the bus company but the app lets it down. EDIT: Live stop departures has started to play up now, only showing the departure times for one service. EDIT2: App just hangs on launch. Given up - uninstalled.

I no longer have the timetable or live departures on the app. This feature was their before xmas but since back to commuting on 3rd Jan option gone. Removed and reinstalled but didn't work; would've screen shot but the app is security protected. Pity, was useful for bus times.

This app was ok when I first installed it about 2 years ago and I even recommended it, but it has deteriorated with every update. It stopped loading the timetables properly, the live chat and stop information stopped working and now I've been logged out and any attempt to log in 'fails'. I won't miss this app.

Web site pushed me here. I do not want an account to give gne my email and phone details. They have no NEED for that.

Slow to load up. Keeps saying login failed. Nothing wrong with my details. They work perfectly fine on the desktop site. The previous app was much better. When it does work, it can be confusing finding bus times, as there will often be multiple choices for some stops or bus stations. Its then a pain having to select each one, until you find the right one. The app needs totally redesigning.

Buy a ticket they said. I have lost count of how many times I and my partner have opened our ticket to get a white box with an 'OK' button and nothing else. I have had to call so many times to here excuses and still pay for a ticket regardless of paying £66 for the month as I have work to go to, to pay for a ticket that gets me to work when it wants to work. To many bugs and completely unreliable. Sort out that issue and the app would be perfect. Not even had this for two month yet.

Absolutely useless. Won't let me log in half the time, I know my log in details are correct. Don't bother installing.

I don't even know how you were allowed to release it! The app constantly crashes, takes about 5 minutes for the ticket to load once clicked. Oh and if you lose signal and don't have the app open, forget about getting the bus!

Great when it works. Doesn't work most of the time. Had to reinstall twice now, because tickets wouldn't load and now main screen won't so I'm unable theme buy a new ticket.
