Brighton & Hove M-Tickets

Great deals for bus tickets for Brighton and Hove buses! However, it has more bugs than a cockroach pie, and point blank refuses to work most of the time. Can't even buy tickets through it anymore. Thank God I'm only an occasional visitor to the area and don't rely on it for long term tickets, or I'd be heavily screwed over. Update: still more bugs than Scotland's busiest gnat season.

I saved in to downloading this app a few years ago when it was made quite clear that Brighton Buses were ripping off cash payers. When it works, it works. But it regularly doesn't, leading to crashed phone, missed buses and having to pay twice. Some drivers are tolerant of app hangs and let you on while it recovers: sadly others have no training in or conception of the problems users are forced to put up with. No monopoly company should force an app on customers on pain of higher prices. But what choice do we have?

Does the job but it lags and its slow. Since there is no competition, more is expected. It should also come with a widget showing active tickets.

When it works, it's great for getting cheaper bus tickets. But it freezes regularly. Sometimes I have to restart my phone to get it to load. Brighton bus drivers are lucky quite understanding about the rubbish their company releases online

This is the worst app I have used in my life. From company that makes so much money you would expect that the app would work.

Terrible ap. This has stopped working due to "can't connect to server" countless times leaving me waslking to work late. Horrendous

When it's actually working, it's fine... But I missed multiple bussen because the app crashed on start constantly. The way I was able to fix this, was by starting the app while being disconnected from the internet. I hope you fix this issue.

It simply does not work. Open and the home page never loads so I can't buy tickets or do... anything. Then it crashes.

It's a really handy app but it does crash from time to time which is frustrating and has induced a few mini "omg" moments. Usually a quick restart of the app works but I have missed a few buses because of it.

I can't log in because I've forgotten my password. I can't change my password because it says my email account isn't registered. I can't create a new account because it says my number is already registered. Was horribly buggy on my old phone and literally unusable since I changed phone. Poor show.

Why does this app not function without access to my media files? How do photos of my holidays and the music I listen to have any bearing on buying a a bloody bus ticket?

Would be good if it worked regularly. Stopped using it because it's so unreliable. More often than not tickets won't load, drivers don't wait so buses missed. Thrown me out of my account and won't accept correct password ask for reset link, never sent. So I've wasted money, tickets are on the app which I can't access. Of you want people to use their phones as tickets, at least offer decent means. Loads of negative reviews but no feedback? Do you even read these? Do us all a favour and sort it out!

Can't sign up, apparently I've already registered. I haven't. Useless and annoying.

Temperamental to say the least. 50% chance of it working and being able to get on the bus you want....

Terrible, update left blank ticket screen. Reinstalled can't log in, can't reset password, can't make new account as I already have one. Fume

This is the worst app I have ever used!!!!!! I can't log in, so tried to sign up again . It talks me that my phone number is already registered however when I enter my email address it tells me I'm not registered. There is no option to reset the password. Horrible, horrible app.

Really buggy, needs proper testing before release. Could be a great app. 31.10.2017 still not great, had to use cash today.

After having as issue with the e-ticket the support team gave me back the ticket and they refund me with 2 daily . They've been very kind quick and supporting. The app need's to be a bit more stable so hopefully they're gonna fix some bugs but generally no problem

Bit shocking when I reset my phone and realised that my 7 day ticket did not show up on my app. Luckily, I had a Titanium Backup entry for the app and ai could recover my ticket. For such a short-sighted app that saves your tickets to the device​ and not associate it with your account, this is extremely bad app planning and will result in panic for those with expensive tickets being lost.

Blank screen Can't buy a ticket when I need to catch a bus !

Seems to be completely unreliable - if the dashboard fails to load - which in my experience is common - you cannot use/activate a ticket. And it doesn't use Google pay.

Extremely useless, unfortunately I had to give it 1 star. Can't believe they are taking so long to fix this app.

It's cheaper to buy a saver than to buy, a to and from of your 'special offer Seaford-Brighton tickets.' maybe you could review this.

It doesnt work. It never connects to the server. FIX IT!

Would like to be able to buy a ticket and share it like the Lothian buses app also by Corethree. Just not the £10 minimum spend.

Wont let me connect when not on Wifi so not very useful. Used to be fine.

Have had intermittent problems with the app before, refusing to open just as a bus arrives which is extremely frustrating. Now the app is completely broken all together and won't open. Do they not test these releases before they go live? Where is the quality control?

Have previously had problems with the app but it works well now. Use it infrequently but when I do it allows me to to buy tickets easily. Paying by Paypal is an easy and useful option and allows for quick checkout. Would be nice if it had bus times included in the app instead of having to download a separate app for that.

Invasive and unneeded permissions. This app could benefit from having live location-based bus times to help you get to where you need to go. App is largely unreliable due to crashes and long load times at inopportune moments.

It just doesn't work anymore. Since the update... It crashes, comes up with blank screens. Absolutely infuriating. Especially when you are trying to plan a journey, or your way to work. Sort it out please!?

If they want people to use the app instead of paying on board, the app needs to actually WORK! I click on it,a black screen comes up,I can't purchase any tickets

You can only buy one single ticket at a time which is so not ideal as I wanted to be able to buy a single for myself and a single for my friend too. As you can only do one at a time my friend had to waste time downloading the app which was just not convenient. Sort it out.

Takes over 1 minute to open since latest update. Now telling me I'm not connected to the internet or it cannot connect to server whilst I'm trying to log in, after which it shuts down then forgets login details so I have to try again. Managed to log in once,it then crashed and lost my login details again. Always feels good showing a bus driver a blank screen as payment.

Good app when it works! Really useful buying bus tickets on card, and to keep a couple tickets for unexpected journeys. Less good when you can't prove that you have bought ticket as despite spending ten minutes restarting phone and app alternately the app "unfortunately has stopped" for no reason. On load screen. So I am left at the mercy of the bus driver and whether I look trustworthy that day while I furiously tap at my screen willing it to load! It crashed 15 times today! Not ideal! At all!
