Bluestar bus

Absolutely useless!! Don't waste your time trying to get this to work. After many tries it keeps decline my visa credit card even though it has the option for that. Do yourself the favor and have minimum 3 £ on you for a one day trip.

This app is very slow to start up and crashes just as you are boarding a bus, so you have to buy a new ticket. It also requires permissions to your camera, phone, contacts, shared files and location - why? What does a bus ticket app want with my camera or shared files??

Terrible app that needs work - after buying a full months pass, I am unable to use it - such a waste of money!!!

Bug which keeps declining your card even with money on, use the key instead

Absolutely awful... Crashes sometimes or just refuses to load ended up paying a fare again even tho my week on app had 4 days left... Was told to pay or get next bus... Also 7 days is not 7 days it's 6 days and 12 hours from moment I bought it... Just not worth the hassle

More often than not, when you're catching a bus then you're in a hurry. This app almost seems deliberately designed to delay you! The app seems to take forever to load (when you're just getting on a bus). And when you're buying a ticket, it doesn't choose a default credit card - you have to waste precious seconds picking a card from an awkward drop down list. So much room for improvement, but the tickets themselves are great.

This app can be useful to me but its like it was coded by a 6 year old! It's performance is disgraceful. 2 times I have nearly missed my bus using this app. 1 bus would of delayed me by an entire HOUR + travel time! For Christ sakes. Please higher someone with decent experience!

Crashes when you need to use it, hangs on open all the time or just randomly decides you need relog in at the worst possible time. A lot of problems for what is a pretty simple app. The most unreliable app I have ever had, on 3 different brand and model of phone too.

Same as many have said. Great idea. Just very poorly implement and designed. As a dev guy for my career this seems like it was made as a summer project by school kids and not with anyone with previous app development or knowledge of Android's API..

Sick of having to set up a brand new account every time that this app updates.

When I try again use this app I must log OK I make login and try log but I can't because wrong password OK I change several time and have this same can't login wrong password

Took my £40, then promptly wiped all of my bus passes, including my active pass which still had time left. Logged out, then back in, refreshed, no luck. Another circus of errors from the worst bus service in the UK. Edit: Found my ticket. It says it's expired because it was purchased on a different device. It wasn't.

It's frustrating to use and even the most simplest of tasks are so tedious to do. It refuses to work without an internet connection and crashes constantly. Overall I would recommend using the key or just buying a ticket. It really doesn't deserve your time. It's pathetic.

I prefer this app to using the key, however it can really frustrating at times. Sometimes it crashes just as my bus arrives and at times that has resulted in me missing my bus. On a plus side you can via PayPal now and that makes it a lot easier to pay for tickets. I just wish they'd sort the crashing issues.

I've started to use the app a couple of months ago, buying monthly tickets. Last weekend I had to change my handset, installed and logged in into the app to see that my current ticket was gone.... So waste of money. The app did not uploaded the ticket, so it's lost. Customer service does not have a clue what happened there.... And I have to pay again

There's no option to use it without creating an account and giving credit card details. What a pile of Dodo doodoo :(

Boasts convince when it only sells one-way tickets for the 18 and 7. Yet neither one of these I use! Not even sure why this app was advertised in my area.

A journey planer and live times would be nice like they do on the trainline but with the nature of roads I'm guessing that would be a logistical nightmare.

The dashboard is just perfect. Your main ticket is now a single click. The twitter feed is an unexpected bonus too. Really like it. Anyone on the old app should definitely upgrade. The only reason I give 4 stars is that the timetables still launch in a browser window which isn't that optimised for mobile phones. If timetables could be integrated in future that would be seriously awesome especially if it filtered out school and non-school days according to what's running on the day

Never loads first time, hangs for 30 secs then crashes. Loads up second time. I'm getting sick of all the looks other passengers are giving me for keeping the bus waiting. I always try to load it up as soon as i see the bus coming. This is never fast enough. Today it completely logged me out so i had to reenter all my details while the whole bus waited. Not good.

I click on the app and a black screen appears. I need to go back and repeat 2-3 times before it slowly launches (this is on a fast quadcore phone). Not good when people are waiting behind you to get on the bus! Newest version won't even install/update (Error Code 907).

I got a new debit card and on this app it gets declined for no reason so cant use it to buy tickets anymore. So pointless

I have had this app for the past year and in the last week alone I have had to delete and download it twice as it keeps on breaking. Same issue both times. Really needs fixing.

You either have an account for your key card or an account on your app. I found this out upon losing my key card and trying to use the app instead. Based on the reviews below why would anyone want to use this app other than when they've lost or their card. Who pays a company to produce this waste of phone space.

Register a card to purchase ticket says card declined tried 3 different cards all declined had money on all three cards.App not fit for purpose what's the point if you can't buy tickets.

The mobile tickets are great, but... 18.5MB?! What on earth makes this app so big? Also, the timetables link takes you to Bluestar's poor excuse for a mobile website. I've got national route planning apps a fraction of this app's size.

Get bus times and routes but that's about the strength of it. I would've thought that by now you'd be able to buy return e tickets on all routes?!Being on crutches it's a massive pain in the rear trying to scratch around the house to find change for the bus!
