... but this App seems out of date. Everything is super big and unusable on my HTC one m8.

What can I say! IT WORKS! Tried a few other free ones and either could not connect or simply were 30 day trial versions. Free excellent app!

Wicked app! Can be a bit fiddly to set up, but after that.. I can control every thing!! (Oh.. the power!!!!) :-)

This app used to work really well. The most recent update has caused it to crash every few minutes when using the mouse remote.

Q70%
by Q####:

One flaw - cannot select text by pressing left click and moving mouse. Simply cannot be multi tasked.

C70%
by C####:

Great app. Autoconnect option would be nice and scroll will tracball. To people saying it needs a keyboard. Hold the menu button key! Andriod feature

C70%
by C####:

I have only used the mouse and the VLC remote so far but they work perfectly. Would it be possible to add a drag and drop function to the mouse?

P70%
by P####:

Best app on the market. must have for anyone who has pc connected to a tv. read documentation. windows 7, nexus 1. Only problem server close on pc

C70%
by C####:

Awesome! However that prompt to enable wifi at startup is very annoying, especially because I use bluetooth/3G for communicating with the server.

I've been using this app for years and had to setup a new PC, if the Winamp remote isn't working for you then enable Winamp's Global Hotkeys which can be found under Options > Preferences.

C70%
by C####:

But it's crashing frequently I don't know why. Please fix it. Thank you

C70%
by C####:

To use winamp, in winamp... go to options -> preferences -> plug-ins -> general purpose.. Click on nullsoft global hotkeys.. enable it under config

Great app, thx. Am using custom remotes for PowerPoint 2010 and foobar2000. If I could only customise button positions and sizes it would be PERFECT!

@dough$: don't disable your firewall. create an exception for javaw.exe, the java virtual machine that loads and runs the .java app file.

C70%
by C####:

Excellent app just needs a better layout for custome remote and a better way to access the keybaord as holding on to the menu button brings up google

C70%
by C####:

Great app with one major drawback: I can't enter capitol letters, number, etc. because it doesn't register the alt or cap keys. (Moto Droid).

C70%
by C####:

Pretty great, would be five star if there were scrolling and you could hold the mouse burton and move the cursor simultaneously. Galaxy s.

C70%
by C####:

This is single handedly the most useful app ever! I see you are continuing development thru a new app (multiremote v2). Thank you and good luck!

C70%

Great free apply with a ton of potential. Needs polish and some options for customizing all remotes, iTunes support, etc. but this is a great start!

C70%
by C####:

Awesome app. Hold menu button to activate keyboard for those who are complaining about it.

C70%
by C####:

I like the java server.. Very unobtrusive in Windows. More than enough functionality and can't beat the price!

C70%
by C####:

Controls VLC unlike gmote, but no volume! Keeps saying wifi disabled. NO Standard keyboard! Forum in french... Uninstalling to try "VLC Remote".

G70%

The PC server attempts connect to an unauthorised ip address using UDP. This is unacceptible.

Compared to other Phone 2 Mouse apps, this one by far has the best responsiveness I have experienced. However, no drag support.

I don't have the evo anymore (on epic now) but fyi, if you hold the menu button on the evo, keyboard pops up.

Keep up the good work. This covered everything I need and is easy to set up. I just unzipped it into C:Program Files (x86)MultiRemoteServer and added the executable (jar) to startup. I changed the default server to match my computers IP address and it works like a charm.

Gaming remote is buggy, also needs to quick switch between favorite remotes
