I downloaded this about a month ago along with cloud tasks. At the time I was transitioning from paper to digital planning. As many times as I tried in the past, I could never stick with digital planning. It was just boring. This daily planner looks almost like my paper inserts and it's fun to use. I can color code, use emojis and decorate, and I have a visual peek at my day with the magic circles. I can set what planning times I want to see and I love how my tasks show up on each day. I like to see my calendar with a Monday start and I can that with this app. Thanks for making my transition a breeze. I think I'll be purchasing the pro versions of both apps so I can get the full experience in. Thanks again!

Good calendar alone, very good integrated with CloudTasks, unbeatable with one major and a few minor fixes. The strength of CloudCal is indeed it's integration with the flawed but potentially excellent CloudTasks. Having your tasks for the day show up on your calendar and the being able to drag and drop them throughout that day....awesome! The critical flaw lies within CloudTasks. You can only set a default duration for all new tasks to use. You cannot assign custom durations for tasks nor change the durations on the fly. If this were fixed, CloudCal would be oh so more effective. Less critical flaws: S pen hover only occasionally displays the title of an event or task on the calendar; you can't drag and drop a task from the task list on the right side of the day view onto the day...allowing you to add it to your schedule; advertised dragging and dropping in week view doesn't work; it would be ideal if you could drag and drop both calendar items and tasks in the day view to another day (rolling down through the days.) As I said in my CloudTasks review, I'm still reviewing these apps. I hope the developer can fix the major flaw (as I see it) and make these two a killer combo.

On the one hand, it's the only Android calendar that has every single feature I could possibly want - and I'm very demanding. On the other hand, it's so buggy that sometimes it's only barely usable. For now, I'm sticking with it because it's just so comfortable when it actually works, but waiting to see some drastic improvement very soon.

on my device running on android 7.0 I can't change a theme and can't synch with eventbrite. on an older device it doesn't have similar problems. i wrote you an emal a while ago about these bugs

Love this app... Being curious if the developer plans to integrate onedrive and onenote, personally would appreciate it

Pros: - Usable with many account types - Evernote integration! Not been this good since Microsoft killed sunrise. - Good power features like notes, location, reminder settings per event, multiple view settings etc. Cons: - I would like the option of a text presentation of the calendars. This calendar is more than just a novel visual style. It could be massive IMO. Please update and well done so far! I would be happy to pay the fee again.

Finally, calendar and Task apps that really 'get' how I think! The first time I paid without hesitation for Pro versions - well worth it. For some sick reason, I have made a hobby of checking out apps, especially those supporting productivity. (Much more fun than being productive ;'). I've liked some, but find so often I end up still spreading different sorts of information among my various apps. But with these much-loved products, I'm finding ... contentment :').... generally able now to de-clutter the outline of my day even while effectively tracking my "do's," all in one place.  My needed information is made far more easily findable and actionable. Brilliant. And the magic circle? Beings tears to my eyes, happy tears.  Actually, these apps are not just eye-catching, they're fun :')

I purchased the PRO version coz I liked the syncing calendars part. I have been looking for a calendar that compiles all calendars I have. Unfortunately, I can't verify everbrite and meetup. I tried multiple times but either I get redirected to a non-existing page or I get an error. Pls fix.

I love the colours and the magic circles. I just look at the calendar and know what event is happening on what day based in my colours.

Y70%

Easily the best calendar app I've ever used. Wide array of features combined with an excellent ui.

So smooth. Beautiful interface.

Y70%
by Y####:

I don't understand why it needs location and access to my contacts to work. Also when I click on a different date in the month view, the list of events in the bottom half do not update

Y70%
by Y####:

I installed the app several months ago, and it quickly became my primary calendaring tool. However, with regard to updates, the developer is often slow to update the app, so that when there are posting system updates, the app may be rendered useless for anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks.

Ok heading in the right direction, but free version only lets you use one calendar at a time. I only have one calendar config on my device I tried loading another one from Outlook that is not on my device as I thought this was a cloud-based program? I change the Stars based on your quick response thank you for letting us try the program.

The version I'm using says at the top under what's new 'oreo 8.0 support' but it still doesn't work with Oreo (as it states further down the page). Missing it dreadfully but when it works its one of the best I've used.

Y70%
by Y####:

Edit: You can assign many more available colors to tasks. Calendar needs more colors to assign. So disappointed! I was ready to give this and Cloudtasks 5 star reviews. Bought Pro for them and everything before realizing their wording is deceiving. You can assign colors, but you can not change them. If I could pick the colors it would be 5 stars. But my devices are perfectly & uniformly themed & the set colors are ugly. I'm to particular and OCD for that. Plus red is my anger color.

This app does not work with the Oreo update even though it states that it supports Oreo 8.0. If you have updated to Oreo 8.0 don't waste your time with this app!!

X70%
by X####:

The app is heading in the right direction, and is very close to being the best calendar app on the market. A suggestion I have is making views more customizable. For example, I would like to get rid of the mini calendar in day view thus having more space to show daily tasks. Another suggestion is allow tasks to be created on the calendar (or day). Sometimes I want to add a task on a day, but I have to leave this app and go to CloudTask. A real pain. Maybe make this a pro feature for CloudTask? If I think of more ideas, I'll email you guys.

Great app. The new icons are ugly compared to the old ones. That's basically my only complaint In response to the developer: Really? People didn't like the old icons? But they were so sleek and cool looking. Ah well, if it can't be helped, it can't be helped. Your app is great, as is CloudTasks

Love CloudCal! Use it everyday. Simplicity and ease-of-entry (effortless to add and remove things) make it my phone's top app. I want to buy the Paid version but I can't! It just sits there and says "Please wait..." Please help developer.

The circular approach is original and I liked it at first so I purchased the pro version. Yet starting the app from clicking the widget takes ages and I don't like the look as much as I used to. Recently, I even found out it secretly uses large amounts of data (EDIT on the backgound, not when syncing manually) and battery (EDIT today most of all the apps, even though I've already switched to another calendar app and didn't use it at all) so I'm uninstalling. EDIT And I don't think that "only" 2 GB of RAM should be any problem for a calendar app…

The calendar is great, 5 stars. However two things that should be corrected : (1) in the month's view, when trying to swipe to the next or previous month, the swipe is not always recognised and the action that result instead of switching to another month it's to switch to another tab (like to the week or the daily view). And (2) the data usage by the app is huge (150-300Mo / month). It's been my #1 app with most data sent every month beating Spotify, Waze, etc..

I like this app, the at a glance view of my work schedule and availability helps enormously; however it doesn't measure my graveyard shifts (midnight to 8:30am). Am I doing something wrong?

Y70%
by Y####:

After a couple of frustrating years with Google calendar not syncing even though all settings were correct, and Google operating at a snails pace, I tried CloudCal. WOW, ITS WONDERFUL. Instantly syncs throughout all 4 of my devices, and it's immediate, no waiting over a minute for it to load. Highly recommend. And if you have a problem, you can hit up the devs. Although I've had zero. Try getting help from Google. Impossible.

The most essential feature missing and the one which is absent from your competitors is allowing your tasks to have duration! I want to study for 2.5 hours for example and i want to be see that visually on my calendar as a task! Resizing the duration of tasks and events by drag and drop would be useful. Please fix this!

The app is great... Well was prior to the Oreo update. Now it crashes Everytime. I bought the upgrade... Now the app is useless. Please fix ASAP.

I feel about this app like Donald Trump Jr. feels about colluding with Russians: I love it. Finally an app better than Sunset calendar app that Microsoft bought and killed for no reason.

Y70%
by Y####:

I like the attempt at a minimal style, but find it too crowded nonetheless. For example: no matter how genius the idea, a month view filled with circles coloured to represent a day's schedule doesn't convey any information to me, it just looks messy. Also the app seems to be pretty heavy even for my high end phone, often stuttering when sliding from view to view. Last minor thing: when sliding from view to view, the app vibrates the phone if your finger started the gesture on an event. It makes me feel uncomfortable, because vibration communicates interaction with the event, which is not what I intended. I've swyped back several times to check if I hadn't changed the event.

So far so good. Great combo of functionality and looks. Trying the free option for now so I can't comment about the added pro features.

Y70%
by Y####:

it's GOOD! except the icon of course (i know, i know you can't please everybody) and I'm always confused with swipe actions. I'm sure it should be an option to swap 'up-down' action with 'left-right' action. it's so natural for me to swipe right for a next day/week/month

Y70%
by Y####:

Looks promising. Could be perfect with some enhancements. Different time zones for start and end times. Agenda widget should show today's date as the header and also a quick location button to open maps without needing to open the app. Needs a 7 day grid widget.

Very intuitive and with all the basic integrations in one place. Only needed more features for widgets. It doesn't work in Android O

Truly appreciate this app. Great views & responsiveness. Look forward to the Oreo update - dropping back to the android Calendar feels like a huge step backwards in functionality.

Great apps based upon Google calendar and task management systems! I've tested almost all of the top calendar and task management apps, and these two apps are definitely some of the best. I highly recommend you try these apps.
