Using old Samsung Galaxy as camera and galaxy S3 to view. Initially successful but after few tries failed to make connection. Despite the camera indicate online. If it operates smoothly this is the best home monitoring app.

This app is just not done cooking yet. The recorded videos don't always want to play. The phones recording stop recording some times. I have to go to the phone and close and open it again. The worst is that the app on my phone and wife's phone opens full screen every time there is a motion triggered event on one of the phones that are used as security cameras. I've disabled notifications on every phone, but this still happens. There should be a notification in the notification tray, not open the app fully!

Paid for this and now just a green screen. This worked before I paid and one we will see if no better in next hour it goes down to one star and I demand a refund so I will see. I have quite a few old smart phones in drawer and this app bring them back to live again. Whenever I need a temporary (or permanent if you like) ip cam at a spot, one of my old smart phones comes on duty immediately. It is convenient and the app is bringing more value to the money I spent on the phones!

I have installed and tried this app several times. works for a few minutes then quits communicating, especially is your wifi is a little weak. Can't be trusted to do it's job. Developer says works on most Android devices-NOT TRUE.Works best (but somewhat unreliable) on my NOTE 1, camera doesn't work on Asus Transformer or Phillips tablet, Sony X10-crashes, Htc desire Z-very flaky. the design and ease of use of the app is great, exactly what I am looking for but it need debugging to make it a useful tool.

And I have experienced the single best customer service I ever have with an app. The camera and motion detection works so great and has provided an AMAZING amount of piece of mind. And for those that need to set it up to look less obvious having it work from a phone makes it so easy. Nice app but stops live viewing in about 10 minutes on my Galaxy S2 , in one to two hours on my HTC OneV. Will try this app again with some other phones.

Just what I needed. I had a spare phone lying around and have attached it to my window on the inside so I can monitor my bike shed outside. I've run a cable and plugged in at the wall. The flash going off does draw attention to phone so will act hopefully as a deterrent. Police told me this is the best way to catch thieves and had recommended a device at £100. 4 stars is simply because I had a few initial issues but support here was amazing, and gives me confidence to keep using this app.

Why do I have to logon with my on-phone Google account? It says "want access to your Google account from now on" && "requesting permission to: Know who you are on Google". Says that on the second screen. Can't move on without agreeing. Why? Seriously why? Are you wanting to view my home security too, and know who you're watching? All I'm saying is it's a little creepy to demand these kind of things. Plenty of other apps that do the exact same thing without demanding your personal info. Good luck competing..

I was using the app for several weeks. A few days ago, I wrote that it stopped working. The next day the issue was quickly resolved! The service is great and it is up and running again. I use Android 2.3.6 phone & 4.2.2 Samsung tablet 2. This app is excellent for monitoring elderly parent or pets when I run errand. Thank you for the peace of mind, I love this app!
