Basket - Bookmark & Read Later for Android
Basket excels as a bookmarking app - the presets for classifying a link as say, secret or to be read later is well thought out and better than Raindrop.io's offerings... however the read it later feature's article loading speed is not up to par with Pocket and Instapaper - it's sluggish, loads everytime I try to visit an article, and some articles when in your default article view are making the reading experience horrible. I hope that the experience gets better... since your app's design is great.
No updates since December 2016. This scenario has replayed over & over again in the Play store. One would be a fool to trust their valuable bookmarks to only this app. Fiddle with it if you like. Time to free up some space & continue chasing the dream.
Tags seem to be auto as well as invisible. Better sort and search than pocket but from the second, not exactly more subtle. Easy note edit, open and identifiable from subtitle. Great multiple line support though no confirm on unsaved changes. Easy actioning overall from list view, Import features intact. Bulk edit mode is ONLY for changing categories. Reader has minimal margins so not as pretty as it could be and media plays as its own browser sans adblock. Choice of downloaded articles with bulk select and organizaton is a baffling three tier - tags, categories, task context. Sharing is useful but unwieldy popup below screen with choice of name before copied link or sendto other app.
Will there be a "find in page" feature soon? It will be a big help. I'm saving a sort of vocabulary building article and it'll be so useful to have this feature instead of manually looking for a word on the saved page. Still a great app though!
If your looking for a pocket replacement(edit)wtf...I mean really...I mean I don't have the required time to teach you all that are ignorant of the fact that this is a really free and all in all fusion of pocket and evernote. I can't believe this isn't the FIRST hit when one types basket....ugh!!! It's been a while and...It's still there I and everyone I introduced this to has forgotten about that pocket app..
I liked it... Everything in the app is good, has become fast and smooth. You can even import all you links from your browsers or bocket to it
I have moved on from Pocket while this app was in beta stage itself! So good, so damn good! Thank you guys! :D
It's has issues with first capital letter when we had a category trought share option of any other app (like browser for instance). To put the first letter as capital there is always the need to edit it later and change the name. From time to time it's crashing when adding new items
Where are tags? Add them but no way to search them. Also doesn't save my added tags. Therefore tags are pointless. Also super irritating that there is a link page between some bookmarks and the page itself i.e. epicurious, Food52.
Really nice app. Smooth operation and nice ui-ux. Plus a really innovative idea, good work devs...
An excellent bookmarking app. You can create categories and place saved articles in those categories. It also have labels that you can use to mark the tasks that needs to be done with the article. I personally use it to mark which article I'm currently reading.
A little slow , Does not support RTL , other than that it's quite good .
No sharing. No import from SD card. Bugs. Shows my name incorrectly. About us button says "404". Typos.
Please have the option to Have a minimal of 100 MBs chosen articles storing offline instead of a GB worth. Thanks.
just same features as chrome bookmarks... can't sort bokmarks by custom order
Simple, efficient and not overcrowded with features beyond the core purpose of offering a save to read later list.
This is good - potentially brilliant - but it does have some annoyances, like the fact that it's slow in comparison with Pocket (to the point where it can be faster to shut it down and relaunch it than wait for it to load an article in the list) and it doesn't seem to sync automatically with other devices, requiring a manual refresh to bring it up to date.
Best alternative to raindrop.io. great new update.
Great alternative to raindrop and pocket. The User Experience is awesome. When you guys are introducing paid features and let us help you in the journey?
I send articles there, read them later. I don't try to use it offline; don't know about calendars. It's very easy to use for what I need.
Terrific execution. Clean and simple. Better than Pocket because it opens all YouTube links actually in YouTube...so no errors!
I think Basket is the only one App that ensures our favourites are saved beyond any doubt
Great bookmark manager, but there are minor bugs that need to be resolved
is there a way to see the articles that I saved on my computer?
I tried to share to Drive, won't work. Pocket shares great.
Are you going to make ANY improvements that everyone has suggested?
Need improvements like instapaper
good.. need improvements
Thanks alot for this more than nice app. I really love it to much. I rated it with 5 stars. It would be more helpful for me, if I can save the same artikel in two different categories without deleting from any one of them. Could you please add this function in the next update. Thank you
Amazing, this made me stop using pocket. The category option is real deal. Clean, simple UI. And no ads. Well done.
Does what it says could use one small change of being able to use it like a regular internet browser with the same save it read it later options then it would be a super duper app

It handles links via the Share menu option of any app, it replays a link using the YouTube app or my browser instead of trying to host it itself and I can turn off offline download of webpages...... thanks for the feedback. I'm re-evaluating the app.
Edit option I mean main article edits and also need TTS support. Thanks
Comfortable to look at and easy to read whether in the morning or night. I would suggest that you reduce the steps to save article to one step, when the user tap "Add to Basket", it should finish, and let them edit later on Basket app instead. Thank you for a good product.
Hello, i've fallen in love your apps because you have categorization segment making it easier for me to browse the saved articles. However, lately, i couldnt saved the offline contents anymore. Is there any limits to download? Please let me know so i can switch to other apps.
I added a lot of links to basket, but many links were missing! I tried to re add the links but it said links already in basket! That's strange. Moreover, instead of cacheing the webpages itself offline, it redirects me to web browser
Multiple selecting items is intermittently malfunctioned. Scrolling pages is flickering slightly which is not smooth for reading and causes eye stained
Simply beautiful. Perfectly useful. This is the APP I always need. Keep going Great work guys!

Browser compatibility issues. Not helpful when it only downloads a link & no heading. Pls allow us to capitalize our categories in Edit mode (that "is" a Change!). Why is this app not in its rightful place in Google Play? It doesn't belong in this Sports section where no one can see it ~It belongs with Box, Drive, Keep, etc!
