Convert your videos into funny GIFs!
Load a video or create a new one, then select a time range, beginning and ending. You can view the preview for the time selected. Remember 1 second is 1000 milliseconds.
Keep it mind that you're using a mobile device and memory and other resources are limited. You can view the gif specs at the end of the main window. When gif is created touch and hold for view it in the gallery.

I suggest these settings (depends of your device):
-Quality: 25%
-Size: max 320x240
-Gif duration: max 4 seconds
-Frames number: max 80

**How to deal with out of memory issue?
Try to use the settings above. If it does not works you can try to lower Frame Rate. Frame Rate is set from the video loaded and is the most important spec because gives to the gif the smooth movement. But I suggest you lower time range, size or quality before. Feel free to test.
**Where are my GIFs?
Into your sdcard (or internal memory) folder Pictures/VideoToGif
With my phone (LG optimus L5) I created gifs of 3-4 megs.

The program has the technical part nailed down, as it accepts a range of formats and produces quality GIFs brilliantly. The user interface, on the other hand, hamstrings the program. Finding stop and start points is crude and difficult even in a short video, and there's no preview. Still, the capabilities and results are FAR beyond most apps, so 5 stars anyway.

Please allow us to measure video or gifs by minutes and seconds vs all in ms... Makes it a lot easier to find my exact start to finish. Also, gif does not play in the gallery!

Gifs work while in app, if I look in gallery it is just a still shot and when I try to share it will not attach to anything

The app works well the majority of the time in my experience. But, as other users have mentioned, not being able to set the start and end points while also previewing the video is very cumbersome in my opinion and leaves a lot of the creation process to guesswork. Which I believe that when doing this type of work that omission to the app is just a real hindrance. I hope that you will please consider adding a way to preview the video when creating a Gif animation please, thank you. HTC Rezound/ ICS 4.0.1

This is powerful gif-making software. It doesn't have the same 15-20 second limit that a lot of other apps have and you can make high resolution, high qualities gifs. There are a ton of advanced features to get the exact quality you are looking for. Another great thing about this app is that even though it's extremely functional it doesn't look like something ripped straight from windows 98 or an app from Android 2.1 eclair. It's modern with smooth animations and transitions. It looks as beautifully as it works.

9GAG now converts all posted animated GIF's to .mp4 files when you download them. This app was just what I needed to convert them back to GIF's. Well worth the $2.00 for the Pro version.

Only thing that could make it better is a way to make a gif straight from Youtube. Still worth my 2$ of support

It works great, but I would like to see an interface that you can actually play the video in. It would make it easier to find the frame you want to start at, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Waste of money, every video i tried converting comes out really really poor quality. Tried tweeking settings in every which way i could but it only gets worse. Deleted very quickly.
