Basic GPS Tracker

I spent all day trying different apps that would track my horse riding through outback Australia. This was the only one that marked the exact position of my phone. All the others pinpointed the cell tower I was connected to, rather than the phone. First test ride, in and out of mobile coverage and it has tracked my ride with great accuracy. The ads are not offensive, but I'm about to purchase, just to support the developer. Great simple app, that works on my Telstra Tough Max. Thank you developer.

Perfect for what I want. Simple GPS tracking and recording. Really could do with a Pause button and white background to distance/time as they are hard to read on terrain view.

Showed I was where I wasn't. Showed that I crossed roads I didn't cross.Showed I entered buildings I didn't enter. Guess that's why I'm not too satisfied with it.

no map appear, when use street view blank screen!

Super basic small app does exactly what I want it to. I paid to remove ads because this app is a keeper.

This app is showing a bowling alley that burned down years ago, i tried to report it on the app and it wont let me submit it. Im not going into the woods or trusting it until its fixed. Im uninstalling. And burns up the battery.

A neat simple to use tracker.I only use WiFi for certain Apps. But I do not need it for this wonderful software

Accurate but Lacking a Pause Feature. I really liked this "Basic GPS Tracker" on first use. The display is great. Any inaccuracy is most likely the satellite variance. The tracks are saved automatically and easy to view again. However, I uninstalled this app because it could not be paused while the phone is turned off as can be done with "My Tracks" by google. As an example: You go hiking or camping by marking your car's parking location when you press "Start." You must turn off the phone while camped overnight or the battery will be dead. Upon turning on the phone you find that your track had been saved. Yes, you can start a new track, but you cannot see your car's location and the new track at the same time. You cannot find the way to your car by viewing the active track. The "Stop" button should have had a confirmation because it is easily touch when trying to move the map displayed. POP - The track is saved and a new one must be started.

I would give it a 5 but when setting 'Metric System' (should be Measurement System) to Miles the values on the Information Screen are Metric. Now if I indicated in settings I want to see miles why would I want to see GPS stats In km/h and Meters? Useless!

I use it for tracking my runs, it's excellent, the developer is nice, responds to emails etc. Highly recommend it.

Bravo, excellent app. Congratulations to the developper's team. Anyway, it's only one inch from perfect. If you add a pointer for "my location" (real time) on the saved trail, so that few days later I can follow the trail back to the starting point, that would be absolutely perfect. It would be very helpful for those who want to get back to the place they visited before by following the same route and know where they are all the time on that route.

Does what it says. Traces your steps and gives some stats about your hike, and easy to use.

Integrates with map nicely. Great app for mapping/tracking. We use it for boating/kayaking.
