* Mailing them to yourself and downloading them
* Copying them over USB
* Copying them to an SD card
* Using online file services such as www.dropbox.com

Once the file is on your device choose it in the Downloads app or in a file browser app such as My Files. You can also use the Open... button in the menu from within GedTree.

Crashes on startup on my Nexus 5 (2013). However, runs perfectly on a tablet. Would rate it higher if it would run on my phone.

Just keeps crashing on my phone (Samsung S8 + ). Disappointed.

I like that it allows me to store my GED file on my SD card. I like that it displays my GED info in a tree. I like that it displays notes; although the info is somtimes suppressed when there are non present FILE objects in the GED file. Five stars if this gets fixed.

Assumes user understands directory structure on device. App should search for GEDCOM files. Progress messages need to be included so user doesn't think problem with app. App assumes utf-8 file format. Better to ask user if it should try other formats. Also when switching formats it shouldn't try to apply to currently loaded file.

Tried many family tree apps but most of them concentrate on field data. This viewer is great for dynamically viewing and navigating your tree and can be used alongside one of the GEDCOM field data viewers. Behaves exactly as described in the blurb.

The recent update greatly improved the overall readability. I have never had a problem loading my .ged files. I really like the overall view that let's you see all ancestors at a glance.

The demo pages work well but you can't add your own information without importing a file. Once the file is imported and you connect it to the application it locks up and will not open anymore. That means you can't change it back to the demo so the program is completely useless. It does not work. There is also no way I see you to ask for your money back so I am out the money. I wish I had never downloaded this program

Does what it should. Author was able to help out with my faulty ged file. Using on Nexus 7. Thanks....
